"Ten years.

Ten years upholding the value of three words - commitment, integrity, and reliability.

Ten years of service to Ishukone. To the State.

Ten years of great success, and great failure. From securing State interests at home in Black Rise to the frontiers of Syndicate.

Ten years of Ishuk-Raata. To another ten years, and many more. For Ishukone! For the State!"
-Ishuk-Raata Enforcement Directive Executor Alex Hinkelmann, YC121, at a corporate rally announcing the upcoming 10th anniversary of I-RED

Greetings, viewers of the Intergalactic Summit.

It is with great pride and pleasure that I announce a celebration of ten years of service for the Ishuk-Raata Enforcement Directive. For ten years I-RED has stood as one of the longest surviving capsuleer organizations loyal to the Caldari State. Unique among capsuleer groups, I-RED also has had the pride to function as a capsuleer subsidiary of the Ishukone Corporation. While I-RED has engaged in multiple theaters of operation since its inception, the core essence of the organization has been to secure the interests of Ishukone and the Caldari State on the frontier. To that end, I-RED has done so now in the region of Syndicate for the past few years and counting.

As part of the 10th anniversary celebrations, I-RED will be constructing an Astrahus-class citadel in orbit over the Ishukone capital world of Malkalen V. This facility will function as a center for relations between I-RED and Ishukone, as well as the greater cluster. Once completed, it will serve a role as I-RED’s new regional headquarters. A more complete list of facility amenities and features will be published at a later date.

The event details are as follows:

  • When: 16.02.YC121 21:00 NEST
  • Where: I-RED Astrahus
  • What: A public celebration of ten years in operation to Ishukone and the Caldari State
  • Who: Invitations will be sent to individuals within the next two business days; please refer to the list below for welcomed capsuleer groups; if you do not receive an invitation by the end of the next two business days, and are not part of a group included in the list, you may mail Selenna Solange to request a reservation
  • Dresscode: Black tie attire preferred; military formal permitted, but any weaponry (including decorative) will be confiscated upon entry to the event

We look forward to sharing this momentous occasion with you all. For those of you who cannot make the event in person, the facility where the event will take place can support hologram projection. A complete list of capsuleer group invitees will be published soon.

Moitte.

There’s been a fair share of conflict between us over the years, and I don’t doubt there will be more. Having said that, I-RED’s dedication to the service of Ishukone has been admirable. On behalf of Moira and Villore Accords, congratulations on this anniversary.

We wish you good fortune in the battles to come.

Good evening, Ms. Solange;

You may want to note that Sapphire Interstellar Banking Solutions (S-IBS) was largely dissolved, and Mr. Sepphiros later reformed it under the new name Sapphire Interstellar Capital Holdings (S-ICH).

This week marks ten years to the day for I-RED, and their longstanding service to Ishukone.

Their close relationship with the ILF predates my time with the corporation by a matter of weeks, and so from my own perspective, they have always been present, to one degree or another, as a steadfast ally to the people of Intaki, through their reputable support of Ishukone’s investments in the system.

I would like to offer my personal heartfelt congratulations to I-RED on this momentous occasion.

Yes, and what a shining example of the Caldari commitment to noninterference with the internal matters of other nations that relationship has been!

Surely that’s not an immense amount of sarcasm I’m detecting. After the rather polite message you left earlier, Miss Vero, I would be very surprised. Though, I suppose it’s not out of the realm of possibility.

We should perhaps not be too critical of pilot Vero’s sarcasm.

I’m actually enjoying the irony of the Gallente militia talking about interference in another’s sovereign space.

After all, it was interference by the Gallente militia, targetting legitimate Ishukone shipping in Intaki, that forced the Assembly to step in and publically denounce the Gallente militia as “acting directly against the interests of the Intaki people as determined by this Assembly.”

Perhaps we have cause to be thankful though.

After all, it was the hostilities of Vero’s own corporation, that went some way to prompt I-RED initial deployment to Intaki, and go on to foster the friendship with the IPI alliance that has endured to this day.

Oh, it is sarcasm, but not entirely unkindly meant. Ancient history now, but once upon a time I-RED defended ILF from a Moira wardec brought on by one of their more strident separatist moments. One of those old conflicts I mentioned. It does go to show that for all the rhetoric about Federation plots to interfere within the State, even certain paragons of Caldari virtue have been known to throw in the occasional interventionist oar.

EDIT: By the way, let’s not forget that GMVA complied with the request of the Intaki Assembly once they made their preference known. We can hardly be blamed for attacking known hostiles within the borders of the Federation prior to any public notice of a local agreement. Either way, the presence of a Caldari Megacorporations operating throughout the Placid region remains a clear example of foreign intervention in Federation affairs.

I, for one, would certainly hope that any human being would leap into action at the sight of a dear friend being attacked by scumbags.

As for the topic at hand, I could not be more proud to serve in this organization for over seven years and counting. My heart is full to the brim with pride and honor. For Ishukone! For the State!

But of course, never mind that those dear friends just so happen to indulge in the occasional act of armed rebellion. A minor detail, to be sure.

As observant as ever, Ms. Priano! Thank you kindly for pointing out this error. It has been addressed. Cheers!

If a Caldari Megacorp has been selected to fulfill a charter of a Federal member-state, that is not intervention, it is business.

Again, never mind that whole thing about the State Protectorate occupying the entire region and Tibus Heth auctioning off exploitation rights like he owned the place.

I respect that the Intaki Assembly made a pragmatic choice to limit the impact of Caldari intervention, but that doesn’t mean there was no intervention.

Pilots, perhaps let’s not make the celebration post a rehash of the decades-old arguments? There are better places.

By signing and agreeing to the Militia Powers Act, the Federation permitted the occupation of selected territories under that treaty.

Why complain about intervention when agreeing in principle to intervention?

"By signing and agreeing to the Federation Charter, the Caldari permitted the occupation of selected territories under that treaty.

Why complain about intervention when agreeing in principle to intervention?"

What’s that? Perhaps there are circumstances where agreements are made under unequal power dynamics? Perhaps not all agreements made by the those in leadership positions reflect the will of all the people those leaders govern?

Its almost like these are complex issues with, like… nuance and stuff.
