LOL wut. What is the point of gathering wealth if not to use it? Someone missed basic econ in school huh?
Uh no. They gank for the lulz and the money needed to gank more to generate more lulz
I get why you’re pushing this false narrative tho.
Can’t admit EVE is a PvP game huh? Its ok bro. You need a hug?
I’ve pointed out various examples. Its not a question of expertness. It’s a question of do you know how to EVE?
I definitely do. I am EVEing right now You definitely aren’t. Its much like the dao in a way. You saw what I did there?
Yep. Hot tub streams was the penultimate death knell of gaming is for nerds LOL.
Don’t be shy Drop the main
I mean limited as in understanding target selection, then yea
Wut. Why use a t2 when a cata will do? Cost effective and PvP aren’t exclusive. Part of smart PvP is limiting losses so you can keep on PvPing
Its ok bro. You’ll learn to EVE one day.
Thats not what that means but ok LOL. Dude you’re a grown man and you’re being dramatic about a space ship vidya game. Sigh. You def don’t know how to EVE. You do generate a lot of sodium tho
Ah. So not in EVE. Again, you don’t even play bro
It goes both ways. If you blame him for that, then you have to accept that this char’s killboard represents your entire PvP history. Or you could quafe up and drop the main. I mean you don’t even play? So what are you scared of?
LOL where are you getting this stat from? Amarr Jesus? You say posts are there to prove? Drop the proof bruv Use SPSS. Drop those graphs
I don’t remember a great outcry that everything needed to have resists nerfed. It was done under the guise of “balancing capitals” but included every ship in game that isn’t T2. Funny though, T3’s got hit with it but T2 got left alone.
I guess “giving the people what they wanted” could be applied to just about every “rebalance” CCP has undertaken for years.
Except most of the “rebalancing” undertaken in recent years was to things players tried to tell CCP years ago would come back to bite them.
Not always, sometimes you’ll hit your low and realise what you’ve been doing for 25 years just isn’t working anymore - So you change and work on fixing all your screwups.
CCP has only been around for just over 20 so possibly have another 5 to turn things around
I think that the resistance nerf was beyond stupid.
Sorry I am going to do a little rant, I have to get this off my chest, this is not directed at you.
Eve is a PvP game, hahahahahahahahahahahaha, seriously…, not in hisec
Criminals shoot someone, they shoot back, if I rep the person shooting back I get blown up by CONCORD. I join as an ally in a war, if I rep my allies ships I get blown up by CONCORD.
That CCP made this a criminal act instead of making you go suspect is gross stupidity in game design, to be blunt this annoys me as much as unlimited bumping did!!!
The problem is that pvpers will always have more preparation and understanding when it comes to pvp things, just as how industrialists will understand more about very specific/niche indy stuff than pvpers.
If RR wasn’t criminal it would be used/abused by 99% of the pvpers in high sec, minus ganks obviously, and by perhaps 0.001% of the PVEers in high sec. The RR change was a boon for PVE players.
I was referencing the players, and not CCP. The players are the ones who want the quick and easy fix for their addictions. They are the ones who are willing to change the game in a way that will make it not that entertaining in the long term, just to have an enjoyable time in the short term.
It’s ironic how carebears were begging CCP to remove neutral assistance for years because apparently the mean griefers were using it to abuse the poor high-sec industrialists and PvEers (false, because the griefers simply didn’t need neutral RR to go after such weak targets in the first place), and now that it’s gone, they desperately want it back.
Bait mission runner, shoot mission runner, if I felt I wasn’t going to do well bring in RR ship and start RRing making my main character invincible so the mission runner switches to the RR character and gets a timer on him, RR char warps to orca and switches to Curse or Falcon depending on situation and now joins the fight.
Or in more modern terms: Do you want to deal with TWO Ikitursas? Because that’s how you end up having to deal with two Ikitursas. And dealing with just one isn’t a fun experience to begin with, two is hell.
If you wouldn’t do it anyway then what’s the point in advocating for an RR change. As said, pvpers will always be more and better prepared for PVP so it’s just a losing situation 99% of the time, regardless of the type of pvp.
Then you’d end up in a situation where a large part of your side isn’t a pvper and probably not as well organised while the other side is mostly/fully organised. See if you can do it, so can they and THEY will, on average, have far more experience and organisation in this thing.
You’d just end up losing your ships without any real change. But please, bring it back. I’d not complain.
Are you trying to say the current PCU is in a good place? Or just argueing for the sake of it?
Lets keep it simple - There is 50% less online month by month than there were a few years ago years ago. Accounting for new players being say 25% of current PCU. That equals a lot of older established players no longer active. This becomes even more obvious when you take into account many from the now defunct chinese server came to TQ.
Not going to argue specifics with you as only CCP have the real figures and would never let us be privy to them. I simply based my “guesses” on what available information is out there.
So what by your standards is “blinged out”. Obviously 2 bil seems a lot of isk to you but what do you draw the line at?
Not everyone in Eve is a poor, so fitting a ship optimally is subjective therefore “blinged out” means different things to different players.
In all honesty, I have repackaged hulls worth more than one of my Tengus. In fact, I just checked and have 2 Marauder hulls worth more than the current Tengu I’m flying.
Ok so you SAY things you don’t mean - makes it hard to take ANYTHING you say with more than a grain of salt when you are so dishonest.
See it’s hard to understand how “stop playing Eve” does not mean exactly what it says. But hey who am I to argue with a guy who has Eve down to a fine art, he says.
Funny that is EXACTLY what CCP has been doing for roughly 11 years. Change the game for short term gain, then spend the next few years trying to fix what they were warned wasn’t a good idea to start with.
And in my opinion they still haven’t come close to addressing many of their “lets see how this goes” updates/releases.
In other words, you got no proof, just slinging opinion like the rest of us
MMOs are fluid, you are also laboring under the assumption that I think EVE should last forever. Sadly this type of game is dying out, due to people not knowing how to EVE.
Its blinged out
What I am dishonest about? I was pretty clear? That wasn’t what he meant. You threw a tantrum over a space vidya game forum. Its ok bro That burning you’re feeling is just embarrassment
It isn’t. If you don’t like it. stop playing But CCP ganked your soul it seems. So you’ll post here even as you don’t actively play. Love to see it
Huh. Maybe you should you apply to work for them. I’m sure with all your awesome ideas, EVE will turn around
You just dodge my questions. My question was - Are ships on the more expensive side with more expensive fittings targets? It’s no use pretending they are not just to make your points seem accurate. Could I have a normal down to earth answer which reflects the experiences of many pilots in Eve?
Of course it applies to me. I was happy to learn pvp and use it to assist me while I was living in a dangerous area. It would never apply to you because you don’t seem to want to pvp and most likely never will.
It seems you are referring to other games. May I ask how long did it take you to procure tanks and warships and battle mechs in these other games? And have you bothered to compare the time it takes to procure a ship in eve with the time it takes to procure pvp vehicles in these other games? It’s a simple enough question, the kind of answer most people expect is: It takes xxx amount of time to procure a pvp vehicle in xxx game.
I’m very sure that if pvp ships magically appeared in our hangers without us having to grind for them then everyone would be pvp’ing.
I know I’m not going to receive a sensible answer from you. Understand this; Eve online is probably one of the most difficult games in the entire history of gaming. To get anywhere in Eve you must put the work in and be prepared to lose a lot in a matter of seconds.
