If EVE was invaded by the Imperium of Man

FTFY…

It could be that the Imperium would have a collective heart attack at the sheer amount of heresy found in New Eden.

INTERNAL COMMUNICATION BETWEEN SO-CALLED ‘IMPERIUM OF MAN’ HIGH OFFICES

This infernal area it’s unfortunate denizens call new eden is too susceptible to the foul corruption of chaos.

The group that calls itself amarr could possibly be eventually made into adequate Imperial subjects, but as it is they are too closely exposed to the abject filth and debauched vulnerability of most of said area. So they must all be given to their deserved fate rather than become any possible threat to the glorious Emperor’s glorious realm.

It is the recommendation of The Loyal Orders of the Emperor’s Inquisition that the wormhole connecting glorious TerraSol with this ‘new eden’ area be permanently destroyed (while recognizing the fine and loyal work of the Administratum Cosmologus and Navis Nobilite in seeking to enlighten further regions under our glorious Emperor, it must be so).

Let us abandon them to the chaos they favor rather than risk them bringing their taint to the glorious Emperor’s benevolent rule.

Shoot them in the eye pieces if you get one of them on your ship. Half the time, their officers dont even wear helmets.

Bah, the ISK-doublers and scammers would take care of those guys in no time. Or somebody would infiltrate them and disband their alliance.

The ISD will move it for you. Their just a little busy right now. :slightly_smiling_face: A thankless job if you ask me.

Edit; These are fun threads! I never did pay much attn to the lore, but it’s not that bad. I grew up watching the original “Star TreK”. To watch it now makes my teeth hurt!

Helmets are for the weak.

Also, I believe the Inquisition would actually implode if they studied the Gallente. Whilst Slaanesh sits by making notes.

Yeah cos exotic dancers are sooo edgy lol.

Actually in warm bodies… I think EvE still wins.
People forget that even the frigates have a crew complement.

IIRC:
Cruisers have ~ 1 hundred trained crew.
Titans have something like millions for crew.

Insignificant when compared to the power of the force Emperor’s will.

this is the kind of stuff I love in 40k.

Not a bad idea at all.

Make it strictly exploration based to retrieve knowledge and Ancient Tech, no resources available and no Structure deployment.

Lore wise could have it when the Eve Gate collapsed it also caused catastrophic events to happen there as well. The only difference is they didn’t survive.

I don’t know man. Those Black Eagles would make the Inquisition proud.

Black Eagles don’t have (equivalent) inquisitors with a flaming hat and chainsaw swords.

I’m surprised nobody has suggested building a wall around New Eden to keep them out, and making them pay for it.

/hides.

In lore terms it’d probably be a lotmore close run than most have said. Bear in mind a single marine squad in a boarding torpedo would massacre the entire crew of any standard cruiser.

ed: For a Titan they’d just teleport a few terminator squads on board. Much the same effect though.

New Eden is actually Space Mexico™ and that the lore is just a lie because Earth built a wall between us by collapsing the EVE Gate.

TL;DR we’re all Mexicans.

A 100 isk drone will kill that boarding torp and your technically irreplacable Adeptus Astartes.

Also pretty sure you can’t teleport through Void Shields.

Oh yeah forgot to mention. Drones anyone? We have literally BILLIONS of robots to happily throw at enemy forces.

You heathens care nothing for their machine spirits. When was the last time you slathered them with holy ungents?

That aside, boarding torpedos would be strong enough to get through close defences plus metres of armour plate. They would also have fighter cover etc, and it would literally take on torpedo to breech any hull to doom it.

WH40K lore is problematic in this respect. In fluff terms a marine could pretty much spit the crew to death singlehandedly. On the tabletop however, a guardsman with a lasgun and luck can incapacitate them.
