BUUUUHHHHHH-bye… (burp)
Mother of God. I’m not even great at this game but someone please, really PLEASE, show this person what to put on this ship and why. Has bonuses to overheating and bonuses to armor resistance, and yet this has no armor tank. Also the mwd and cloak trick may have helped here to avoid the loss.
This is amazing… so many haulers lost, not to even mention the 18 procures! So little cargo lost on this last one that broke the camels back tho… kinda anticlimactic there. Kinda odd that the OP never joined a corp. Especially after the first dozen loses.
Now I’m no expert on being podded, but this many times would make one think the pilot was AFK, eh?
Also, Nov 03, 2016 you ganged up on a poor defenseless miner in Sinq… I have no sympathy. But thanks for a rather interesting forum read to kill time!
Don’t fly/haul what you can’t afford to lose. First rule of eve I learned the hard way. Second rule: grow long sensitive bunny ears and assume the worst is always about to happen. Third rule: be unpredictable and pay attention to predictable habits of the predators such as gate camps and hot drops. Watch local. Know your pirates. After years of playing I’m still learning but guess what: I can afford to lose a lot more, Im almost never caught off guard and I’m having more fun than ever.
Fly safe. Like seriously, everyone says it so do it.

inb4 some new player posts a rant at the train simulator forums that the game is so unfair and punishing because she so easily got his train derailed while doing everything in their power to prevent it from happening thus the game is bad
They are making tonnes of money, I already explained that to you with evidence. Still saying IF as is there is still doubt really only serves to make you seem like you still have a point.
They haven’t been released yet since the financial year only just ended. I am looking forward to seeing if they managed to keep their upward trend. With that said your points about closed offices and lost talent were literally beside the point, since CCP made record profits in the run up to those events.
Don’t mind me, I’m just recalling some of the corp chat in UC way back and how nothing really changed.
Plus, the bounty was well worth it.
There is currently an over abundance of carebear types in this game, which i consider to be one of the largest factors in how and why EVEs content factory has been slowing recently. Far to many people want to have their cake and eat it to, CCP then have to cattor to those people as they are now a majority of the community and the EVE of old is dying. EVE is a life simulator, it’s not meant to be easy, it’s meant to be exciting. If you’re the type who loses some ships, doesn’t learn, doesn’t ask for help and doesn’t google your way out of a problem, you’re just not gunna make it in this community.
It also didn’t help that you’ve given advice to other players when your zkill is terrabad and your fits are aswell.
I am sad you’re leaving though, brain dead caring bear salt is my favourite.
Had to edit due to caring bear being a naughty word now
Thanks CCP, what else would you like to sensor for the snowflakes?
Had this happened in high sec I would agree with everything you said…however low/null…that’s where the stuff that happened to you is supposed to happen.
So an average carebear is someone who operates in and goes around lowsec, 64 of his 80 losses are from lowsec, are you really that dense, well yes you are. Average Carebear, oh my god that is so dumb…
@Alessienne_Ellecon you took risks, a lot of risk and I salute you for it. I am rather interested in why you did not fit a cloak and do the MWD / cloak trick. I wish you well and sorry to see you go, another loss of a risk taking player is a loss to the game as Sarah said above.
The people going on about tank have not realized that a tank was not gong to help much against the 2,800 DPS of a dunk Nid with T2 fighters and a slow crawl back to the gate with a long scram on you from an Arazu. But if it makes them feel clever or intelligent when it is not well more fool them.
You won’t be missed…
And what, exactly, would your armed freighter do against 34 to 50 pilots? Nothing. You’re still going to pop…
But would you call; him an average carebear? I would not, he had big balls and persistence, not what I would have done, I mean I did PI in lowsec and did not lose a ship, but he gave it a damn good go.
I’m sticking around for the spacefriends, and out of sheer stubbornness I think. But he’s right that Eve game mechanics are not conductive to maintaining a large player base; not many like the ‘everything is pvp’ mindset. And after almost ten years in Eve I have to say I’m getting tired of it too, sometimes. After a long day at the office, you sometimes just want to stare at New Eden and relax a bit, and that’s just not always possible.
Oh well. We’ll see how long Eve can go on like this; I hope it will last many years, but I’m not sure.
What is it with you always coming to the defense of reckless players who would rather commplain than learn? You are not helping them by sugar coating their failure, you’re hurting them by making them think that failing and complaining are the way to go rather than learning.
Where one plays has nothing to do with whether or not one is a carebear. You should know that by now at least. “Carebear” is an attitude. This op displayed that attitude by blaming the game an others rather than understanding that the problem is him.
His disastrous killboard just reinforces the point, a good low sec Indy pilot does not die 64 times in such a relatively short span of time.
OP should have grown a beard
I spent all the hours of Eurovision ganking and sometimes failing to gank in highsec with this character. Saying we biomass our characters because we’re some sort of anonymous griefers is actually insulting.
OP, this game is not for you. Please don’t think all of us are going to feel sorry for you, because honestly this is a unique game in terms of player freedom to do, not in freedom to do not. Does that make sense?
Anyways, go on, back to Hello Kitty with ya… Shoo shoo.
Stop and think for a change, yes I agree with you he was not especially smart, I asked him why he did not fit a cloak as that would have made a lot of sense with his fit. He had obviously learnt as he had warp core stabs, but he met someone who obviously had missed him and who upped his game with the Arazu. The Occator is the only ship I can’t actually fly on any of my characters so I wanted to check that fit to see if there was any reason for not fitting a cloak.
The other chap called him an average carebear, that is totally wrong, an average carebear does not operate like this in lowsec. People who take risks like this are not an average carebear…
He is a non-PVP player operating in the toughest areas of space, I mean he has losses in Arida for gods sake, that is really tough low sec. So think it through, calling him an average carebear like the other chap did is way off base and seriously dumb.
The OP was a risk taker and I respect him for that.
