Can I have your stuff… damn you saw it comming
This reminded me of that article I bookmarked a year ago.
It feels like most of the millennials are entitled whiny children that think they can get everything they want without putting in effort, if they just whine loud and long enough.
Yeah, if you got hot dropped by a supercarrier while flying a DST, you were doing a lot of things wrong.
As far as calling nulsec pilots antisocial, I think you have it backwards. We have some of the largest social groups in the game, while you apparently have a very small circle, if any at all.
OP, you can easily join any number of large alliances cold if you want to do industrial activities. Seeing as you can fly a DST, you probably have the skills and time in game to get in pretty much anywhere. Maybe instead of crying on the forums, you should start looking for a group that can actually help you do the things you want to do.
Bye, assholes!

What a LOSER!
Longest death scene ever.
As long as they pay their subs and keep Eve going, what does it matter how often they log-on ?
Eve isnt Broken, but Jeez, it can bealry attrack more than 22 000 differents accounts at once while other real MMO attrack millions.
In other words, Eve is a ■■■■ game attracking only… well… you know… all those “adapt-or-die” trolls.
There is more “multiplayer online” in EVE than there is “Massive”.
Let us assume 300k subs, of which 10% are logged into the game at any given time. That’s 30.000 accounts logged in.
Now, if of those 30k accounts 29k are sp farmers or jita market / spam bots, you have 1k actually out in space doing something.
EVE has around 8.000 systems. You end up with 1 player for 8 systems.
- Space is empty, which leads to
- the players actually wanting to player with others being frustrated about it and quitting, which leads to
- less demand on skill injectors / RMT’d ISK, which leads to
- SP farms becoming unprofitable and being downsized and botters quitting, which leads to
- dwindling active player numbers, which leads to
- space being even more empty and the cycle repeating itself.
There is a critical mass point. If the number of players regularly playing EVE drops below that point and CCP can’t counteract it (like with alpha clones), EVE will bleed subscribers in a death spiral.
EVE lives and dies by its community. The EVE universe is nothing without us, the players, breathing live into said universe. That’s also what makes firing EVE’s community team so absolutely ridiculous and mindbogglingly stupid. Short-term gain that will bite CCP in the ass long-term.
EVE is a niche game. It always has been. It used to have a intelligence bar that, truth be told, 90% of humanity was too stupid to pass. That, coupled with EVE being a hardcore PvP sandbox at its very core, is why the player numbers are limited. It made for a much more enjoyable game with a truly great community for those of us that could cope with it and that is what made EVE EVE and what made it thrive.
If it would have been just another WoW clone, it would have died over a decade ago, considering all the stupid decisions CCP has pulled.
It’s also the only MMO where everything happens on a single server, in a single, shared universe. Where you can have battles with thousands of players, impacting the game of hundreds of thousands of other players with your actions. No other game has that.
It may not be massive when you compare the total of EVE subscribers with the total of World of Warcraft subscribers, but compare it server by server. How many people do you get on a single WoW server? 10k? 15k? It’s nowhere near the hundreds of thousands that EVE has, nor does anyone give a ■■■■ about the scripted achievements of some spongehead WoW player on server 12345.
In other words: You’re comparing apples with oranges.
I play this game since 10 years, and i think EVE isnt broken.
Yes NS, LS, W-Space is not a pony farm.
if you want to have a nice day without Problems, go to HS.
Or to bigger alliance where you get a good Intel.
Lock out for a nice Sysemn without other People … yes there can be System without People…
Set up a citadell and go to work. But it is only up to you, what do you make out of it …
Loosing ships is a big part in EVE. But i hope the OP informed himself self …
As in the beginning of my gametime in EVE, i can rember These words…
… other MMOs givr you a Cookie even for a unfinished Quest.
… EVE will take away your Cookie even you finshed the quest and you get a punsh in your face…
… So, a +6 Stabilized Occator gets tackled by an Arazu in Lowsec
Autopilot?
Eh, maybe, maybe not… but still.
There are no winners when people leave the game for good. Less targets to shoot at, less competition, less interaction, less everything.
An awful UI and unintuitive game mechanics combined with almost zero documentation has very little to do with an intelligence bar. The little documentation out there is often outdated or got entirely removed by CCP. Hell some devblogs are already outdated 24h later and not even adjusted to the new reality.
Compared to other MMO’s I really don’t see any difference wrt. to the average intelligence of players. Different player types - probably - but that has nothing to do with intelligence.
Funny how he said her final farewell and even this thread goes on as if nothing happened.
After reading some more of this thread and that person I think it was the best decision to quit.
Surely it will feel like freeing yourself from abusive family.
Perhaps there needs to be a new group called the White Knight Society. Purpose would be to pay out to those who got revenge for those who felt wronged and needed revenge on a certain target/group. Reward those that do good in EVE in various ways.
Butthurt dude.

Nice flounce
I notice no cloak on that, so not all precautions were taken. Don’t blame others for your shortcomings.
