sorry not impressed. hmm let me guess… if it were you youd probably what fit it with those modules which increase hull strength… rather then trying to use at least someway of warping out quicker… before webifiers and warp destablizers get used…
yeah i know probably going to say use warp stabs. but new flash like only 1 or 2 are effective and they dont do anything in terms of much help no offence… at least with inertial stabs… it gives and before you say there is no way of warping quicker… the inertial stabs… help the ship to align somewhat abit quicker which then allows the warp to get up again abit quicker… and if it were possible which it is not… but if it were. id use the afterburner trick. but sadly its make do with what we have.

Create a mining bookmark outside, and just above or below, the curve of the asteroid belt and mine from there. That places you away from the belt landing point. A lot of gankers are simply opportunists who go round the belts looking for targets.

Watch out for ganker scouts. The more ‘professional’ gankers will use a scout ship as a warp in point for the fleet. That harmless looking Venture creeping in closer to you could be that scout. As a general rule, if anyone you don’t know starts creeping in closer than 10km…that should be a warning flag. Also don’t always mine from the exact same spot…as gankers could simply observe that and put a bookmark there.

Choose the asteroid belt closest to your ‘escape’ point…for example whatever station you might run to if gankers show up…and preferably the furthest away from whatever stargate gankers may arrive via. Which gives you more time.

And, of course, add ganker groups to bad standing so you’ll actually see half a dozen red icons if gankers do show up. Bear in mind that any ganker scout may well not be in the ganker corp.
Some argue do d-scan every 3 seconds…but in my view that is a complete waste of time. By the time d-scan picks up any ganker fleet on its way to you…it’s already too late.

i know this is slightly of topic but what is the eve workbench thing for ?
- Webs actually make you warp faster (if you aren’t disrupted)
- Inertial stabs make it easier to target you when fitted.
- Bulkheads mean they need more to gank your freighter.

Yeah forum got too soft long time ago. Now you can’t even read posts that were flagged by some carebear forum alt farm and after some time they disappear completely leaving no trace the person ever posted anything…
I suppose that what the miner wrote to me ingame was too much, I just quoted what he wrote to me and I even “wrapped it” nicely.
Personally I don’t bother to report players for verbals, death wishes or racism ingame myself and I am not even sure that GMs are doing anything with it even if someone does. I just laugh at them getting so mad over pixels in a video game lol.
