The only real difference between a 0.4 system and a 0.5 system is that Concord show up in the latter. And yet somehow this mysterious word ‘ganking’ has been invented to describe what is basically just highsec PvP.

So what you’re saying is if gankers somehow lit a cyno in high sec space, that would make “ganking” a form of highsec PVP more amenable to being kept, in your eyes.

No, I’m just saying that concord isn’t the only difference between 0.4 space and 0.5 space, so claiming it’s the only difference than using it to broadly dismiss anyone with a different opinion on ganking is not a reasonable position to hold.

So if I understand right:
Another difference is that 0.4 is 0.1 less than 0.5, quite literally. That 0.1 is less than 1. Therefore, there’s literally less than one difference between 0.4 and 0.5, and therefore, pro-ganker opinion is invalid.

Cynos being in lowsec has 0 effect on high sec PVP called “suicide ganking”. It’s hilarious that you believe if cynos were allowed in high sec, suddenly it would change suicide ganking, as if cynos somehow have or would have a bearing on high sec ganking mechanics. No one would spend the ISK for BLOPS being dropped just for them to get CONCORD’d.
Just as relevant as the 0.1 numerical difference.

You can have it one of these two ways:
A) Your high sec cyno line was about mechanic differences that apply to ganking which is what Altara was talking about when she said “the only difference”, in which case you believe the above: that somehow high sec cynos would revolutionize suicide ganking gameplay. This would be engaging with Altara whole point ina constructive and honest manner.
B) Your stated way of ignoring Altara’s “suicide ganking” aspect and just focusing on “one difference between high sec and low sec”. OK, but then you have to in honest intellectual debate grant me the same: the difference between a 0.5 and a 0.4 system is 0.1. That is a difference (in terms of game mechanics) and a difference (in terms of mathematics). I claim that 0.1 is less than 1, so my argument is that both you and Altara are wrong, there’s always less than 1.0 difference between high sec and low sec systems, the reader can derive that proof themselves, because mine is categorically two kinds of differences at the same time (the game mechanic and math ones) which is greater than the single category of difference you discuss. And two is more than one, so my pedantic understanding is the correct one. And so you would have to admit I’m correct here. But you didn’t, because you’re not being intellectually rigorous with your pedantry.
You’re wanting to weasel and thread between A and B without being intellectually honest in either.

I don’t have to have it any of the ways you demand. She said that the only difference between 0.4 and 0.5 was concord, I simply pointed out that was not true.
It is always risky to leave your keyboard while undocked outside of Jita 4-4 even if you have zero killrights and or cargo. There could always be some Pilot just needing something to shoot at.
