It’s 7-day volatile SP. 
Hopefully nobody actually trashed it. I’m curious if there’s a fix for that.
So no update on this since yesterday @CCP_Aurora ? Just make the things consumable and call it good so we aren’t waiting a week or two for it to get fixed. Some people may be going from Omega to Alpha in the time while you tinker around with some perfect fix.
Making things consumble would hurt extractors sales a bit - that would be sp trading avoiding ccp’s cut + too profitable for 80+ mil characters
Imagine the possible scenario where the SP becomes a consumable item. People could and possibly may have traded these items, and might amass quite a bit of SP for particular toons.
Doesn’t matter, they were selling at roughly equiv costs to skill injectors.

Not all that many in the game, no new ones being created, they can no longer be traded and cant be contracted. simply making them consumable would keep everyone (as far as i can tell) happy and resolve the issue.
Many people have bought or sold them in the small time window that it was possible so some system of deleting the items and applying SP to the players that hold them would also work, again without screwing anyone.

Oh comon man, it’s still not fixed? Jesus, the servers have been terrible for weeks - causing people to lose ships and ruin their killboard, and the rewards have been messed up twice now in 3 weeks, annoying the entire player base of eve. Surely someone at the top should have told some of the coders to work overtime and get this sorted since the customers have been really ticked off this last month.
Morning everyone - they’re working on deploying a fix as we speak. It needed a server reset though so it had to wait until downtime. I’ll give you more details when I have them shortly.

Even if they don’t count , somewhere in my mind I got them, this is purely psychological.
And now another placebo SP bar to fill , I like it…

Just talked to the dev team - seems like your intuition there is likely correct here. The fix that was just deployed was to prevent the SP from being contracted to avoid further complicating the issue.
The final fix for those of you who are missing this SP is still being discussed and is anticipated to come early next week.
I’ll do what I can to keep you guys up to date on this.
