Years of “effort” and they’ve collectively achieved absolutely nothing.

TOXIC is a good chap, you did not have a chance to speak to him and there are 3 CSM on there, well at least there was before I left. They had about five candidates on there too.
Sadly that is one of the issues, also those circle jerkers are rife with entitled thinking sadly, for example they would insist that the prey have skin in the game but their skin was the bling ships they carve though noobs with. Was really depressing to see such unbalanced thinking.
That is why, and when I tried to push them to think about CCP Fozzie’s skin in the game comment at fanfest the wheels really came off and I had one of the worst just posting magical structures at me and telling me I was not a merc, well yeah. Another ranting about all carebears being Fascists while another dropped any quotes he could find from me on the forums to cause an attitude against me, which was funny because I had actually said those things in the Discord, but he had not read back on past posts.
I gave it a go and I think TOXIC is a great guy, and there are some others there that are good, maybe I was to pushy in trying to push things along, I must have been a bit of whirlwind for some of them…
The thing is that the war dec system is actually quite good at its core.
I have decided to step back a bit from the forums as the same old tired forum warrior alts have bored the hell out of me and I should spend my time in game doing stuff, but before I largely head out, I would ask if anyone is interested in seeing my ideas about what needs to be done to war decs. But one thing is clear, it is not just an issue about mechanics, it is in fact more of an issue about player attitudes, and changing it to make it work better requires focusing on changes that change attitudes and how they do things for both sides.
It takes two to tango, but lets just go with magical structures… 
PS A thread that highlights a number of issues… I wonder if people can spot them, there are some good comments in there that pretty much nail it.

If they want to waste time laughing at me (or you), so be it. Just goes to show how ineffectual they are.
Tbh its also occured to me that the discord is used by some as a means to separate/isolate the issues from being discussed here to the discord instead, where they control the rules/narrative/content.
My observation, is that the discord is plagued by trolls and those whom deliberately are there to stall/sabotage any progress/concensus, either out of personal vested interest or just “for teh lolz”.
Until the discord addresses those people as what they are, they will continue to make no progress.

Actually that was not the attitude of TOXIC, which is why it wa a pity that you did not get to speak to him.
Anyway with that I am out of here unless I see some people ask me for my thoughts, but I expect crickets will be chirping louder than that… but that could also be my fault too

You’re not a merc, you don’t understand how the merc world changed in the past years nor why it ended up that way. And you can’t see the consequences of having wars tied to structures either lol
All I saw was an ego throwing its weight around on stuff they didn’t like (just like you do here with bumping)

I am not a merc, but I was keeping tabs on mercs while I was in hisec and in fact during all the periods I was in hisec, in fact I know more about mercs than you do, a lot more.
And to say that I did not understand what happened to mercs over the past years is hilarious and plain wrong.
And I laid out the consequences of tying wars to structures and how it should be done and how it should not be done.
