Let’s talk about suspect flags for T4/5

No it’s not. Why would you make up stuff I did not say?

People will adapt and invent new strategies to compensate for the risk. It is simply my opinion that isolated PvE is bad and needs a clear drawback that is currently missing.

WTH is wrong with you?

You mysteriously forgot the billions in filaments. T5s are not cheap in exitotic, dark and electrical

“billions”. Another weak carebear attempt to, through lies and deceit, try and cling on to their OP income stream.

Some cost ~25 mil, others way less.

  • you want his activity to be worse in HS than in NS. The reward is the same in both cases, but you want concord to protect the gankers in HS. That’s literally the definition of more risk.
  • you have no idea why the flag was removed.
  • you have no metric of what, why, should be correct. You just want it to be easier in NS than in HS.

I dont have a horse in this race, but I kinda see both sides.

Do you regard it as equal (Or in fact more favouring HS) because its just as easy to have a defense fleet waiting in HS when you come out as well as CONCORD as it is to use filaments within the defensive umbrella or even beside your top structure in Null?

No one runs high end firestorms or gammas because there is a 50% tank bonus. The cited reddit post said straight up that he dropped 2.4 billion on exotics. The way less ones are because no one runs them. Exotics and Electricals…with a smattering of darks for those that run Sacrilege.

You think I am a carebear you may want to look over my killboard.

Then learn what the ■■■■ you are talking about.

You defense fleet can’t do squat in high sec outside of a wardec, your “defense” will get concordokken for defending you TO INCLUDE repping a suspect purple coming out of a hole.

Remember when they murdered neutral logi to the cheers of the carebear population.
Yeah that.

Engaging a suspect DOES NOT flag the the aggressor in that case, it causes a limited engagement, not a suspect or criminal flag. Your “high sec defense” fleet either dies to concord or sits on their thumb…either way the guy coming out of the hole is …F… nothing to do and its not like you can wait it out.

Have you, at all, read the thread so far?

Oh and your solo KB is mostly losses or easy kills. I guess you’re somewhat good at following orders…

I didnt realise that was a concern for a fleet of Catalysts.

I don’t usually solo on that toon.

I also wasn’t aware that solo had anything to do with suspects on abysal holes.

Fact is that doesn’t matter, if you are hunting for abysal runners and aren’t packing the firepower to drop a pimped Gila or Sac in one or two cycles you are already ■■■■■■■ up. Fact is the runner has NO defense. None. Can’t wait, can’t scout, can’t take precautions, OTHER than running somewhere else.

No nevermind to me I already live in a wormhole…which is about the worst place I can think to do such things as EVERYONE has scanners…and traces aren’t hard to find.

I am not talking about the gankers.

I am talking about the ganked. There is nothing in high sec you can do to defend a suspect flagged player without getting concordokken yourself.

To include limited engagements.

What a load of drivel.

  • you state that the filaments are expensive, I reply with the fact that it doesn’t need to be, you state that it’s either ■■■■ or for Sacs. Which is the ship I’ve been promoting throughout this thread.

  • who said that solo KB has anything at all to do with suspect for abyssals, certainly not me. I just commented on your hilarious “look at me boy!” nonsense, which I simply refuted. And you DO solo a bunch on that character, you just lose a lot.

  • the “woe is me, I’m in a WH” makes it even more silly. It also makes you sound like… a carebear

Here’s a top tip: if you’re going to make over the top statements, it helps if you can back them up.

So am I.

Would you fly a gank fleet to where a fleet of catalysts already was?

I am assuming from this that you feel that NS is a safer place to run Abyssals than HS then?

You are full of it and tap dancing. I made no un-true or over the top statement, you don’t seem to understand the machanics and you have DEFINATELY never run these are T4 or T5. You called me a carebear I refuted it. Particulary since I have the stones to post on my main and you are a no killboard owning forum alt.

You cited a 25mil “cost of entry” so in order to run say 100 sites…gee 2.5 bill I know from experience that I run 3 sites an hour, the forth site usually gets eaten up repping, re-arming and doing things like bio breaks. It is what it is.

That being said.

Sac is the hardest ship to run T5s in, its nearly as ammo intensive as munnin has a garbage range and totally has to fear the 8 Trig BS 2 renewer, three neuts and a bunch of web waves… Not to mention the Sac ABSOLUTELY requires all of the above 1) Assclaps 2) Crash 3) Mindflood…in a pinch and whatever agency hardshell booster you can afford as well.

If you like your near 2bil isk ship that is…but hey you save 1.2 bil on filaments.

Currently no.

If they add the suspect timers back. NS would absolutely be safer with a quiet place in low being just behind it…then a Wormhole.

Ignoring all the nonsense:

  • the Sac works just fine
  • the dark ones are a lot cheaper, which I like. Just because all clowns run the Gila doesn’t mean it’s the only or possibly best choice. It just means tons of clowns fly Gila’s
  • by that logic buying antimatter S also costs billions… if you buy enough of them

So you like Sacs (completely unsurprising) Which matters not in the least, Sacrilege runs them just fine, yes. Its a high energy endeavor, and one that involves +20 mil an hour in drugs, another 5mil in ammo since HAM “tracking ammo” is faction…not to mention potentially 48mil in filaments

So whatever that “OP” figure was? Yeah cut 75 mil off of it.

…then remember a burner/blitzer can crest 200mil/hr.

P.S. I can’t stand Gila over T3, its too slow. Does more damage than sac does though.

Indeed. Concord is what favors ganking in HS. it literally protects the gankers and their logistics until they are ready to use their ship.

Note that I don’t have a horse in the race either, I tried and considered the rewards is not enough for the risk once the suspect flag was removed.

edit : I think it is hypocritical to ask for more risk for this activity in HS. It’s only a beg from people who

  • either want to farm them in NS and can’t stand the collapse of the value because it is over farmed (which I understand)
  • or want to have free targets in HS, being even more protected by concord that they already are, with defenseless targets who are already not making a lot of money from their activity.
