Suggestion: The warning when you try to put a ship with an Escape Bay Frigate into an SMB should tell you that this is not allowed.
Keywords: capitals, ship maintenance bay, jump drive, blackops, ships, cargo, warnings, UI

I’m trying to put a Redeemer into my carrier but the game keeps telling me that it contains cargo that is not allowed in the SMB. The cargohold of that Redeemer is empty. The warning should at least also mention Escape Bay Frigates so that you don’t forget about this special bay.
Suggestion: “Self-Destruct” to your clone home should put me in a pod if I am not.
Keywords: UI, clones, med clone, home station
Note: If I am in a ship, give me the option to leave the ship and spare me lots of mouse movement and right clicks.
Thanks for those links! o7 I did not know about those programs, so I may be using them in the future if I need to. I do know about exporting Overview, but I think that’s too narrow of a scope. It doesn’t capture window sizes, locations, or any other windows and settings aside from the overview. I was suggesting that there be a setting in Eve settings to save your profile, which would encompass everything you’ve set up. Hotkeys, chats, windows, overlay, overview, colors, etc…
Suggestion: The HUD Holds button’s tooltip should have a switch option between actual volumen and fill percentage.
Keywords: UI, cargo, tooltips, readout
Note: 1.92 % full does not mean anything to me. I need to know the real volume that’s full of the total volume.
Since CCP made it virtually impossible to conveniently check the cargo volume in the compact cargo window or any hold window for that matter (no, trying to hover your mouse over the 3 pixel high volume bar is not convenient), this tooltip offers a quick any easy way to check the volume, if it would show actually useful information.
Suggestion: The Pointer window needs more things to point at.
Keywords: UI, UI pointer, pointer references.
Note: Brand Management, Freelance Jobs (that actually work because the pointer atm only works if you already see Freelance Jobs on your monitor), Decoration, Corp Ads, Plex wallet (because of the new transaction feature), and so on.
Suggestion: Make Cargo Transfer window persist, and give it a hotkey to open.
Keywords: UI, Hotkey, Item Transfer
Note: I make use of cargo transfer on structures pretty consistantly to dump uncompressed ore/ice into an athanor so I can later compress and move it in mass. Having to open the transfer menu every time manually be selecting the structure on all my alts is such a pita. Would be nice if the cargo deposit was automatic based on your range, in regards to detecting a structure. So you can just open the menu with a hotkey or from a neocom button, and it just works like that.
Suggestion: Allow us to compress on tether if the structure has the service for it.
Keywords: Mining, Hotkey, Compression
Note: Would give the same feature as a Rorq in a pos (minus moon ore) but from a static structure instead of having to do a whole session change to compress.
Suggestion: Allow Fighters to Multifit Into Cargo hold
Keywords: Industry, Multifit, Fitting
User Story:
As a capital module pack seller, I generally sit in a freighter and use “fit to active ship” to quickly extract the exact number of modules from my different module packs. However, fighters CANNOT be multi-fit this way and must be manually dragged into the cargo hold.
Reproduction:
Sit in the ship, set the empty fitting that includes Fighters in the cargo hold, andattempt to “fit to active ship”. The fighters will be separated into their appropriate stack sizes in the item hangar, but then fail to fit into the ship.
Suggestion:
Allow fighters to be multi-fit into cargo holds, or give industrialists a better way to make these “module packs,” as having to physically sit in a freighter/industrial ship is extremely time-consuming.
User Story:
As a capital module pack seller, I generally sit in a freighter and use “fit to active ship” to quickly extract the exact number of modules from my different module packs. This forces me to make a single module pack at a time; I cannot simply press “generate 50 Zirnitra Packs”. For small ships (non-capital), I can simply use a bestower or something, with its base 4k cargohold; this is ineffective for capital modules.
Suggestion:
Allow us to “multifit” into cargo containers in order to generate these module packs.
User Story:
As a fleet logistics pilot, I spend most of my focus on the Fleet Watchlist window, allowing me to keep up with the Health of all fleet members, except for one: myself.
Suggestion:
Allow a user to add themselves to their watchlist.
Suggestion: Contract settings shouldn’t reset every time you use the Find in Contracts option under fits/mods
Keywords: Contract, UI, Settings
Note: It becomes very tedious to check if doctrines are properly stocked by looking through the ship tree, just for it to default to public contracts and all regions everytime.
Suggestion: Improve text scaling and font size in the UI so it adjusts more effectively based on window resizing in EVE and the resolution being used.
Keywords: Font, Font Size, UI Scaling & Resolution.
Note: When viewing details like how long someone has been in a corporation under ‘Show Info’, part of the text is cut off at the bottom when using ‘Huge’ text size with ‘Auto (100%)’ UI Scaling. For example, for me it shows “for 2 months and 26 days.” This happens with any UI Scaling setting if ‘Huge’ text size is selected.
On a 2560x1440 resolution with ‘Auto (100%)’ UI Scaling, any text size smaller than ‘Huge’ ends up looking too small. Even with ‘Huge’, the text still feels just a bit undersized. It’s only when switching to 150% UI Scaling that the text becomes comfortably larger and more easy to read, but then everything else on the screen looks oversized.
My suggestion: Adjust text size or font scaling so it better matches the chosen resolution, UI Scaling, and text size settings.
Suggestion: Add customizable presets to “Optimize Settings” under Display & Graphics
Keywords: graphics, 3D, rendering
Note: Useful when changing graphics settings
The three presets (quality, memory, performance) are good baselines but some effects can be much more demanding under certain conditions; having the ability to customize a preset SPECIALLY with upscaling settings would be easier than setting it yourself
I created an excel sheet and compared large artillery, railguns and beam lasers. The latter two seem very balanced and are very close in performance. Artillery lags behind in DPS. Optimal and Falloff seem fine. I propose a 3% increase in artillery damage mod and a -5% decrease in artillery rate of fire. Artillery still has the lowest DPS, but it is closer to the other guns. It’s also possible to omit 1400mm guns from the damage mod increase, as the alpha strike is high already. For comparison all T2 guns with unmodified base stats were used. Ammo was 48 damage, -50% range for all guns.
Suggestion: Ability to pin 3-5 locations as quick-routes
Keywords: ui, autopilot, route, pin, location
I would like to be able to right click a location and pin it to create a button that will set my autopilot destination to that location with one click.
There are a small number of locations I frequent on a given day: my home station, a location that I rat/explore/mine, a trade hub. I’d like to be able to set a few of these as one-click routes so I don’t have to keep opening my inventory, right clicking a pinned location, and clicking ‘set destination’.
A row of these pinned locations could exist on the autopilot drop panel:
Perhaps also have these locations (if they’re stations/structures) show a different color in overview/right click menu (like your “home” station does now with that light blue)
