i vaugely recall them mentioning a smaller structure that would be a smaller citadel, and quicker to anchor for more nomadic lifestyles, so would that make this it’s big brother?
Eh. That could lead to some unnecessary trickery with amarr ships to get extra caps out of the light while caldari and min would be meta useless.
That is one of the biggest problems with eve right now time zone tanking, which leads to stagnating game play.
actualy minny ships aswell as caldari have advantages over amarr and gallente it just depends on fleet composition
it also makes alliances looking for ppl in all 4 timezones not just focus primairly on 1
That in itself is a good thing yea, but that also forces a critical mass before that group becomes effective, which is around 50 active people per day for that.
that is what i mean by putting in effort and actualy they have to get of theyr rich fat asses and go for it
if an attack has to attack through a chain of 5 systems to get the real target, with ref timers that could take days, but without it would take an hour or 2.
basically, ref timers would make the surprise attack next to pointless
So much Salt in here.
Many guys telling, theyre unsubscribing.
At least the half wont. I bet on it.
IMHO the best change in the last years. Keep
The good work going guys! Youre doing it right! (Nullseccer btw)
you forget that smaller alliances primaly focus on guerilla warfare wich is actualy good for the game , better than the 6k ppl fights
Gorilla warfare cant happen with reinforce timers thou unfortunately unless they can control the time it comes out and have 4 different targets come out at the same time on all 4 corners of the enemies territory, making them split up their main force or miss the right target completely.
Small alliances are awesome for the pvp health of the game. Mostly skirmishes with a dab of camping and very little pointless evictions reducing the number of active null players.
true, though again, with guerilla tactics, an attack against a target would be slowed down by having to fight over ref timers on intel structures, meaning they have to fight almost 100% defensively
that means they have to forge coalitions with other small alliances wich is as basic not a bad thing , sicne that also means smaller coalitions will change and sisseapear faster af ter theyr purpose is completed
So, 50000 people are unsubbing for something that may be temporary? Course they are. Also, currently null must be 100 times busier than it appears.
yes but that is not a bad thing it means smaller alliances hold less sov but are better capable of defendign theyr systems
Yea could be nice, I like the idea of lots of smaller battles happening at the same time a few jumps from each other rather than everyone in 1 system suffering with Tidi.
This allows for more strategy maybe sacrificing numbers on 1 of the smaller areas to win at least 3 of the 4 or something.
can not agree more on that
good change, resubbed 20 accounts
So a more streamlined fozziesov?
Your gonna get crucified by suggesting such a thing.
