Local Comms Blackout - Discussion Thread

A C4 wormhole can be rolled with 5 properly fitted battleships. A C5 can be rolled by 1 carrier. The holes have a math to them that’s publicly listed. While it isn’t perfect if you don’t know how much traffic has been through it’s not hard to roll if you got the numbers and the will… Also if you crit the hole with WH’ers in system they’ll leave. No one wants to be rolled out in the middle of hostile space.

Goodbye can I have your stuff

This.

It is such a badly thought out idea to switch off Local in Null. Only those with the numbers will survive. And the Credit Cards by the sounds of it.

The CSM did know.

now the time for eve to enter his eternal sleep

Null gates do not have this option. We rely on spotters, who are sometimes afk…

Please safe the monuments!
All the angry null bears, if you plan to form a protest please. stay out of jita and ammar, stay out of hs in general.

You can still go mine and do what you’ve been doing it dosent stop you… Unless your boting

Seriously, all you people crying about industry being unable to exist without local… Where do you think the T3’s come from. The ONLY way to build them is with wormhole materials. If we can do it you can too… You’re not as useless at the game as you seem to think you are.
We know you can do it!

True. However from the side of way to make ISK-making safer, as I said above NS has combinations of cyno and jump drives, which make odds on offensive sides much greater once been assaulted. And NS habitants can’t prevent hostiles intruding in. J-spacers can do that.
On the aspect how people can easily make PVE/Mining/Industrial suitable environments for each, nullseccs seems to be inferior with no local.

I mean cyno’s work for both sides.

What is the point? Except to drive off paying users? Anyone who wants this experience can go to WH space, so it adds nothing beneficial to Null. Between this and the Rorq nerf, it does seem like CCP is trying to push out the industrialists. But then who will supply PVP? I’m not unsubbing, I’ve put too much in this game in various characters, but I personally don’t like this change. It’s not going to add to my enjoyment of the game.

then CSM did a shitty job if they let this happen

It shakes up the stale ass gameplay we have now.Like the last “war” that was bashing uncontested structures

Wormholers can easily collapse the wormholes artificially, and they do huff gas after make their space isolated.

Sure you can isolate it with your own static yet that doesn’t stop someone from rage rolling into your hole. More entities living in Jspace would increase the likelihood of that happening. More people in Jspace would be really welcome.

I don’t. I huff with an open chain because there are sometimes good connections down it. For 1 or 2 gas sites it’s not worth closing the chain.

Most of the big players in Null Don’t Sub, but plex from bots. so that will change cash flow for the better, I am guessing, but they have to do something, to many new and old players, don’t want to keep playing this way. a few overlords.

Yee. But, at least holers can try to do that. If they’d been done rage rolled, it’s BOB’s will :stuck_out_tongue:
“can try” and “can’t try” is a big difference.

And I really hope more dudes come to holes. CCP need to make Capital PVE in j-spaces more attractive and dangerous !

Don’t take away the glory from the miners (industrialists) … all they do is provide for the pvp and then they go to war with there capitals… They won! Do not take that from them
