I kicked the idea around of diving in a hole and staying there as its the one area I haven’t lived in for a prolonged period.

So live tested the idea taking over a C2 with my army of alts. I couldn’t deal with the constant logistics and set up. For every hour I was doing something fun (usually killing interlopers in Drakes and Endurances) there was like 4 hours of set up.

Money was solid though, it funded a couple stupidly blingy deaths =D

Plus I have since moved to Japan, and with DT smack in the middle of my prime time, 8pm every. frigging. night. Low sex’s low order fuckery is more enjoyable to me.

Should try with an established corp. It is so much easier when you let the industry-bears that enjoy corp and asset management do what they like to do. The good CEOs are those dudes that enjoy setup and all that crap.

Leaves us PvX guys to do our thing and just pay taxes so the machine runs well.
Also, man, C2 space is so very poor compared to C5. Risk is way higher but ratting in a C5/6 is tons more rewarding!

@Bo_Orchu_Taichar you should check the maker out and look at “How to stay aligned”… its hilarious, yet extremely well done.

Its bigger than that as you can check killboards for drifters and they havent really killed much bots. CCP is trying to cause deflation in general.

Its was mention that this is cause of botters. No local is just not about botters or making game more risk. This about getting ISK out of the game. From NSA nerf, VNI nerf, Excavator nerft, Insurance nerf, no local, and soon nerfts to Asset safety. I crunched the numbers of average kills per month of all known space regions. Its not about null being too safe. 4 of the top 10 regions for highest average kills per month for 2019 so far are NullSec regions. The 10 lowest average kills per month for 2019 are half null and half empire. Everything is pointing to trying to induce deflation. Reduce the amount of ISK in the game overall.

I read the reply @Kera_Frost posted and quite honestly, it’s a very well thought-out post and the context of it is pretty much on point.

10 years and i say yay, this is literally going to stomp mud holes in big power blocks. obviously you saw how bad things got on serenity, although they could come together and form a super power bloc forcing people to hs, they also had some of the highest rmt’s and bots on their servers, but since you weren’t the devs there, you couldnt stop them from doing it. here, this will stop most of the bots, or let you spot them, also, you can literally just go looking out on the web for the bot makers and no matter what implementations of bots they come up with, literally anyone using them can get picked off by you pretty much right away. this will limit null sec power blocs to specific systems unless they roam with those supers, it will provide newer players with the ability to go into null like they do in wh space, and be undetectable unless they are scanned by probes or are in anoms that show up. people like myself, who have alts galore and honestly set things up to stop people in their tracks coming into my system or at least can see them come in, it will limit my profit or at least limit what i can produce, but, it will be an added bonus when i take what i know how to do to the enemy and am patient enough to let them come out of hiding pop bubbles or drop bubbles. it will change the landscape so that null sec can’t be formed into that huge null alliance like what happened on serenity and im super happy about that. but honestly, these detectors you want to bring about, if that’s what you are doing wink wink , then i think honestly they shouldnt be cheap, they should require sov, and not be something that can be reinforced, but killed outright the first time they are attacked like mobile tractor units. this will of course limit your null sec alliances in ways that you want, while giving growth to new players that i want to bring on and train. holding sov for me right now doesn’t seem right, but i have the ability to do it, with a large number of players in the alliance, however major coalitions are killing eve, and the ability for someone like me to build dreams like u want, and it’s also harder for new players to get into these areas and stay alive. the game needs a bit of pruning of the older players and bots and jerks that just ruin things for those you want to keep. as you have previously stated less than 5% of your new players are staying. this isn’t a good thing. but it’s even worse when you are keeping people around that are ruining those new player numbers while the old players keep doing things to threaten the new player experience and your bottom line. hopefully by this point, you and your accounting department can see this, and i’m truly hoping you can trim the fat to make that bottom line bigger in the long run by getting rid of what’s ruining the experience for myself and many other people who really care about this game to the point we do not use bots and have gone hunting for them, religiously.

It looked like it might be worth a read but I’m not in the mood for a brain bender so paragraphs are great. They also generally help in making points. I look forward to reading it, with at least some modicum of formatting.

Funny they killed the Dora bots… the pods died three times in a row before it clicked to them…all ten…that they were actually dead, otherwise they were still trying to mine away.

Depends on how you value your time. If it’s just about ISK/hr, then ratting in a C5/6 is best. If it’s about saving many trips to Jita for overpriced compressed ore, then a 1 week moon chunk can be cleared by a couple of Rorquals in a couple of hours. The 2 month chunks are better, but you need more Rorqs and more PVPers sitting around twiddling their thumbs in case something happens.
