Note to Dev’s: water can not be compressed ,just put under pressure until the container breaks…eve space is modeled as water …same problem you can not compress eve space without breaking the server by any mechanic.
the only solution to the inferred problems eve has is More space…by a factor of 10 at least.
…unless a biased dev team has only 1 thing on their plate…to kill off 1 group of players like they have been doing for over 10 years now so someone else can crawl out of the woodwork again.

all im saying is, the Tracking enhancer nerf (Never forgive, never forget) was far far more devastating to the game of eve online than deleting local ever will be.

Make Vagabonds kitey again

Fix map intel or turn map intel into trainable skills. Or only allow intel gathering in systems you’ve physically been to before hand, thus encouraging traveling to open up that area to be used remotely later. Maybe allow players to sell maps? New skill cat: Cartography? Why would a bear need to know literally every stat and statistic as to what’s happening across the entirety of NS. Why would a NS pilot need to see how much suicide ganking is going on in jita?

Different pilots will need different information.

local is a crutch for awful players

but already the emergent on-message solution of “nerf in game public metrics” is a smart way to go, ill give you that. Bit too esoteric for the ccp devs who don’t play to understand.

Imagine playing eve online to make isk to spend to make more isk to spend to make isk. Try docking up the vnis, come pew pew.Its the only decent part about it

Not everyone wants to spend $8,000 to plex into supercapitals.

Which ironically might be why the devs are doing this

maybe just try playing the game instead of denying you have the dragon sickness?

Not really liking this idea, devs. Staying out of null and encouraging anyone who will listen to do the same.

Completely disregarding what I just said works too? I get it, you dont care about nullsec powerblocs and how invincible this makes them.

Lucky for you, the devs dont give a ■■■■ either

Goons are already invincible.

Agree, the malcanis effect. Any change will be more readily adapted to and mitigated by the larger more organized alliances than by the small alliances. the quality of quantity and all that stalinism. This change isnt for you people

Nolocal makes it at least more viable and slightly more fun to actually go and roam. CCP has been eroding that part of the game for far too long.

Yes.
Well okay, weird but okay.
Ewwwwwwww no!

Pardon my french but im begining to think too much PVP makes people brain damaged,
Words of reason mean nothing to this kind. Time will tell.

if you’re getting hunted while pveing by brain damaged people, why does a big brain such as yourself need local? its just a crutch

Completely agree there. I just wish it was balanced to not lead large hunters to small groups with dotlan, ingame map, zkill, and basically everything that already spoonfeeds pvpers info so they dont have to try to do anything but go to their prey.

No local is a great idea if balanced. The issue is theres SO many tools to make it unbalanced because theres no way to readily/immediately counter things like t3’s, blops, booshing excavators… all things that are COMPLETELY one sided if done with minimal effort.

No local is cancer that will kill off small groups if unleashed with no other balances. Period. Ironic that people claim “krabs know they’re coming 10 jumps away” when they KNEW where the krabs were 200 jumps away because of free intel lmao

This will make a need for scouts at the gates, and scanning players. This does add another roll into the Group PVE content.

Except logging off, cloaking, and immune t3s bypass this completely. Otherwise yes, gate scouts do and will continue to exist.

Edit. and wormholes, but probe scanning is a good way to at least get a heads up on these, unlike logging off/on at a safe… which shouldnt be usable offensively
