It’s the standard response mostly because people put a fair amount of time and effort into getting the big toys, they want to use them.

I doubt the pvp hunters who will sub will balance the krabs that will unsub. Even if enough of them sub they will unsub right after as they ll find lack of targets to hunt.
Dont tell us though that they ll fight each other. That meme doesnt stick to the fact that local doesnt prevent them to fight eachother since they claim to be pvpers and not scared, and still they prefer to complain about krabs docking because of local instead to fight eachother and make eve the better place they claim they want.

the main problem is the devs keep trying to drive GREAT conflicts for be damed headlines in the gaming world…there is a old song line killing yourself to live…that is the driving problem here instead of making the game BIGGER in order to draw in a larger overall population…they keep on with this pressure cooker crapola that is killing the game.

Nah, there will be plenty of targets to hunt.
There are enough people who are too hungry for isk and ore that they’ll krab no matter what. I’d be willing to bet that most of the people crying and whining about unsubbing won’t actually unsub. You’ll probably find them still running Havens and Rally Points, mining from moon ores and colossal belts long after Blackout takes place.
The call of the krab is too strong for most of these people, and in turn, they will be targets ripe for the picking.

Edit: Oh! and i have to correct myself. I dont have anything against credit card users, but i just dont think an ability to inject a freshly made character into capital/super can be called effort.

In terms of Sovereignty bills, null is getting almost a %50 discount in $ terms, since $15 still buys the same PLEX as almost a year ago, but each one turns into 2x the cash.
Shockingly, SP-farming works just as well in HS w/out having to pay sov bills or even undock, if all you’re looking to do is print ISK.

I hope so, though there’s always another renter corporation that has near zero expectations that will gladly take their lazy asses.
I’m actually hopeful that this will make rental empires too unwieldy for people to manage, so they’ll be forced to actually earn their own damned ISK instead of being a bunch of parasites who only PvP.

But I still have made a point for Local actually prompting PVP play , response and in-tel from Local does generate PVP, your further insights as to how you see it working might give me a better context in how to respond.
Hard tie real-time view of local to the owning alliance. Gives a bit more meaning to having the flag flying over the system than a giant bill every couple days.
Would like to add I agree Bots and Afk’ers no fun but somew of us so work hard for what we get scary part is that we are the minority.
