Local Comms Blackout - Discussion Thread

Can the Abyss have all your stuff?

Shame it was one of the few civilised discussions going around here.

I honestly wish Someone, Anyone could get the rest of Eve organised. I’m unfortunately just a small fry in a big basket of chips.

We ALL need to show CCP and the world that Eve Online is alive and well and not just a bunch of risk averse asset hoarders.
We as players need to get over ourselves put our egos aside and put everything we have on the line to make a difference. CCP want destruction, they want Eve to be a PVP game where there are big fights where valuable assets are destroyed and headlines are made. (the same things most players want too)

We as players can do this - It is after all just fukin space pixels, blowem up and use some of the trillions of isk you and your buddies are hoarding to replace them - Then go do it again.

NB; I’ve just come back after a year off wasn’t aware of the standoff last month but it really doesn’t come as a surprise. As in the past, no-one will deliberately commit to a fight they don’t feel confident in winning. Sadly that is just human nature.

It is time “Spreadsheets Online” lost the spreadsheets and got back to its roots - BLOW it the FUK up…

NB; I don’t blame Goons alone for the poor state of the game - We ALL played a part in today’s mess and nothing CCP do will make a difference if players don’t get behind it and BLOW SHITE UP.

Well I had hoped more would get in on the comments and not just me offering my views. Some new players perspectives would have been good but then I guess this could have been hijacked by fake accounts.

However Im sure we can have a civilised discussion again maybe on Evexit rather than Brexit comes to mind with a lot of nulsec whiners?

Heh. Nice.

Just like no miner or ratter has enough brain cells to figure out what staying aligned is?
Cause, ya know… if you’re playing the game actively and being even basically attentive like you should in null security space, then none of this crap matters.

WOOT love this slaughter of would be hunters lol , Our Corp has made over 50 kills just on the gate camps, the waves have stopped I think some people are licking there wounds. DId not all turn out the way you expected blame the blackout for focusing our attempts on greater security, other major corps are racking up kills like this to , hell I got to gate camp in my Rokh been awhile.

Naaaah. If the peeveepeers could not be bothered fighting actual battles with actual fleets, looking for easy pickings and went whining on forums about “dem pesky intels” - why should I bother?
More so, as we are seeing now, if you whine long enough … well here we are.

Yeah, there’s reasons that doesn’t happen, just like there’s reasons those elite solo pvp hunters make the effort to use perches and d-scan to avoid running face-first into a 50-HAC/logi gate camp they have no hope of surviving OR killing anything in.

but as I said, more on that in a longer format, soon.

If staying aligned can keep you safe, bots are 100% safe cuz they, of all things, are always aligned.
Otherwise, you are a moron.

Sadly, in recent years, Spod-Brain has gone from rare malady found in remote sectors to a full-blown disease. Top scientists around the cluster are still trying to find an effective cure, but the prospects look dim, especially for cases where the victim’s condition has existed for longer periods. In the meantime, the Caldari State Centre of Medical Excellence recommends podding afflicted pilots to remove possible avenues of further contagion.

With that killboard, no wonder you’re so salty.
Seriously, I lived out of an Orca for a period in jspace, and never lost it. I got landed on plenty, and because I was paying attention and aligned, I’ll let you guess how many times I lost an Orca, since that thing is in my hangar right now.

Go back to the chicken space then. Nullsec is a dangerous one where your cheap tricks from the safety of wormhole won’t work.

Autopilot to a system in null? New level of terrible gameplay knowledge even from you.

That’s how safe for ganktards it has become.

Well, you should have tried just mining without that excessive fuss. And had a wallet thick enough to consider orca’s expendable.

How do you expect anyone, literally anyone, to take you seriously. First you called pvp in EVE niche and now your saying autopiloting in null is safe. What a magical fantasy world you live in.

And yet you whine about local being gone, because it makes you less safe…
Also, no-bots aren’t always aligned. They didn’t need to cause they had local and could get moving before the other person could hit warp.
Your arguments get weaker and weaker.

Maybe you have the above mentioned Spod-brain disease… (lol that ■■■■ was funny AF)

Wallet was plenty thick. Can do a decent amount with a few ships in the Orca’s hold. Was using it like a mobile base while I slummed about.

Eve is a sandbox game, pvp is just one niche in it, and not particularly fun, important, or attractive one to add.

you’re

as long as you hit your chicken highslot module, ofc.
but as long as you do, it is.
