Respect yourself and your time. Do not pay money for a project that does not meet your requirements. Eva - this is not the only game in the vast network and you can find a lot of activities and games. Your indifference and ignore is the best thing you can do. Do not enter the game and then it will reach idiots that they are doing something netak. All success and do not whine on the forum, they have long been at you all do not care. Otherwise they would not create such garbage.

Okay, let’s start with the basics. You’re aware that Zkill is a third party application, developed by a player, who owes you, personally, absolutely nothing and can grant (or deny) access to the service he has developed for pretty much any reason that takes his fancy?

I do not update Zkill at all now and it seems that others are doing the same because all the kills I got recently are not reported.
PS Not that many as I am not really doing much, but…
I am amazed at how people think its surely fair to gank a few miners that cant even ■■■■■■■ move away while they are in industrial core but oooooh anyone defending them is bad bad bad.

Cool event, hope it stays that way for at least QUITE some time to see how the meta adapts before any conclusions are drawn. Definately worth undocking more often now.

Me too. I have not seen so many small fleets moving about in a quite a while. Oh and the bots do stand out like a sore thumb.

Been here since shortly after launch. When did you buy yours?
I feel like the amount of time and mindlessness required to mine in this game created the botting issue in the first place. I would say for a while CCP even benefited by garnering 2x to 3x more accounts than actual players. After the acquisition by black desert online CCP only makes moves that increase it profit margins. Anyone who thinks CCP cares about them is an idiot. This was done to drive up market prices and increase plex prices even further. Look at the prices of plex in past 3 years the inflation is staggering. The destruction this change will bring will only serve to line CCP pockets further. The fact it benefits you ccp doesn’t care. I have been calling for this change for a decade for cloaked ships in local. But everything is a bit much its pretty much a CCP sponsored Goon burn Jita campaign to destroy resources and inflate their values further. Remember CCP is the house and the house always wins. Who is worse 3rd party RMT or CCP?

Spent some time already with this blackout event.
Gang pvp didnt change much, you fly around until you find a similar group to yours to engage, killing straglers and loners on the way, BUT if the gang is of cloacking ships and plan on hindering a system, looking for easy prays, is a pain to deal with them or trying to engage them, since they will have the initiative or just wait/log off/ do whatever else, if they dont want a fight, so ganking is easier.
Lone hunters, you got it hard, you will die in the now usual 2-4 ships camps in gates.
Hunters with blops/cynos… the only problem now is to find targets in the open, people is less active in space now, at least for tasks different than pvp, be it mining, hauling or ratting. Hunting will turn into a boring task.
Ratting with big or slow ships is not an option, people will find out eventually, the sooner or the hard way; you will get insta locked by small cloacky tacklers, so you need some kind of backup, be that some partners, a standing fleet (not effective with subcaps, you die before backup arrives), or umbrellas.
Mining… dont think it is profitable now unless you are well covered. Small groups with a rorqual dont think will be very effective, all you will get pointed by a ceptor warping in range, aligning wont work since you must be still mostly.
In all, the black out could have been a good idea if well implemented but:

Not enough countermeasures: still no real tools against stealth. Need a structure which limits it, some kind of burst that decloacks, some kind of inhibitor, something… a probe, a scanning module… right now stealth is to powerfull, and some very powerfull ships are able to use it. Im ok with recon ships role, it is their job.

Dscan is a bit dull. Pressing V every 3 seconds is not fun, nor it is being proactive or ready doing so, is being paranoid. I cant manage my targets, drones and modules while pressing V constantly, thats not fun at all, AT ALL. Add an auto scan feature, like refresh every 10 secs or so, maybe a new tree of skills, or make every V press activate a 5 sec refresh marging, something… and remember dscan is not 100% effective for every situation.

Some people is not doing what they like to do. Listen to them, feedback them, maybe they offer some solutions, offer then some tools or features to protect themselves properly. People not playing, thats not good for everyone.
Begin adding tools to counter this new feature, most people are not having fun, and those who are do it with a big advantage.
