and cyno to WH space too ?
sov and cyno , it will be nullsec
But if its not recorded anywhere then how should CONCORD know to pay you the dank bounties?
Or do you wish to no longer receive bounties for killing Pirates?
why not have structures that produce a local when fueled … so local can be in strategic systems when you hold sov… and can be hacked by incoming forces …
Cyno to and from WH space is going to be tricky. I have no solution, with regards to the rules or mechanics for that to work. But shure cyno in WH space, bring it on
I like the hacking of local, that sounds like good content. It could work a bit like toasting.
lol “Null was not meant for new players” Says a guy whose character dates back to 2018… what would you know about Null and new players? When i first joined the game in 06 I tried missions, I tried some pirating and I went out to Null shortly after… did it require some additional support from some of the more seasoned players? Absolutely, did I die and learn? Absolutely, but I was out there long before skill bonuses, while you still had to do learning skills, and basically incapable of flying anything.
The whole “Null isn’t meant to be safe” argument is just a bunch of crybabies looking for an easy ride that don’t like WH space b/c it isn’t active enough to suit their needs, when all they would need to do is move there in droves and get the exact thing they’re looking for… If you want meaningful change, move the resources and start provoking more big block battles…it’s the only thing that has seen any measurable increase in activity and real losses of isk that actually benefit the economy…
Best thing about this is that PVP activity seems at an alltime high so the 10K where bots or just dudes who like to play it safe which this game already has enough of.
But this is only a feeling and we will see after zkill is up again today.
It will be hilarious when the numbers indicate that people aren’t logging on. Because no local isn’t new, hasn’t been for a long time, and that didn’t suddenly inspire all these “leet pvpers” to move to WH space even at it’s inception… Number one reason people don’t like WH space for pvp? Not active enough, not enough fights… so lets take that notion and extrapolate it, and see what happens…
Every time something new comes out, or is launched, PVP activity increases. The blackout needs more time to do it’s thing, to come to a conclusion.
no one will miss you bye have a great life
You know all of this shows on the in-game map right?
you have to be in game to see that
in 2011 it required 20 mil SP accordign to the power at the time…and I spent a year chasing doctrines.
damn shame that.
true that. but i sure hope it stays long enough so we can come to a conclusion
and you lived in a WH for how long to support this?
also stop posting with neutral alts its no fun that way
And your point? I spent much of my early days in tackle frigates and mining frigates just to make some isk and get kills. And that was long before capitals with ASCN and BOB sniperthron fleets, there’s always an opportunity to participate, despite skill points (which are even easier to obtain today than they ever were) excluding a specific portion just because they’re new is about as logical as having someone with 80mil SP that bought the character being competitive just b/c they have the skill points…
The game has always been (since beta which I was apart off) marketed as a sandbox game. Not focused on PvP or PVE …
Nullsec is not supposed to be dangerous … its just doesn’t have gate guns or concord … do you actually remember the days before they were in the game ??? The danger level comes from the players … whether its high sec / low or null.
The problem with the game is they started listening to the players and losing their focus and vision …
If someone wants to PVE why shouldn’t they have the same rights, game expectation and enjoyment as someone playing PVP…
At the moment the game is not balanced unless you have a “Alliance umbrella” to protect you …
Be this event usefull or not , be the “crying carebears” (among which I am) right or wrong, CCP shows full and total disrespect to their users. The ways they’ve put that was way too brutal, way too surprising, 2 days to “prepare” was incredibly short and meant : “it’s almost now, rush as you can, but we know most of yous won’t be ready, at all”. Total disrespect I said, we’ll see a few trolls appearing suddenly and say “adapt or die”, of course everyone has to adapt, but firstly, it’s not because, as a small gang/solo, you’re ready to simply reship and run, that you have the right to tell other players they should already be ready, and secondly, using an exploitation server for testing purposes, changing (sometimes ruining completely) the gameplay of thousands of people for the pleasure of just a few others, is not at all the way to go. A discussion should have been done, and counterparts of the blackout should have been deployed at the same time the blackout itself started. Putting new mechanics on an exploitation server means they’re ready to be placed , have received acceptation of the most part of the players, but not like that, i’m sorry.
