Looking like it will be permanent.
Noone would undock⦠except some strong contenders for the Darwin Awards
i mean in null the most fun way to rat right now is probably to do it in a group, solos will barely attack you and with other groups you can have fun fights. In the worst case you sacrifize 1-2 of the group, but in total you should still have made some isk. With srp, which most nullgroups have definitly.
If you just want to chill and solo halfafk rat there, yeah well then nobody should help you
Exactly what does a cloaky nullified (often even stabbed) Loki āriskā? We had a dozen of them permanently cloaked up in our old region and people just started to ignore them. Just not worth the effort. Maybe youāre not familiar with the āmemeā fit? And youāre telling us to ādo somethingā about it (them) ???
ohh defnitly not semi afk. if one is going to do that then go high sec.
but with alliance [small alliance] numbers so low at the moment due to the blackout good luck finding 4,5,6+ people who all want to rat.
WOW they made me change this lol funny form the song you can figure out what I meant concerning the game .
I wasnāt responding to you, I was responding to the person worried about his sec status. And I thought you quit.
Why do we not just stop the tin foil hatting an shut the servers off forever then paying customers lose all the cash spent on everā¦
hell so far the trend in here is repeat whatever another person said before repeatedly.
an alpha with max skills can use a gnosis with t2 weapons mods then play that way forever.
so much hypeā¦
diversity is what makes eve work its all the old players to the very young IRL i keep seeing the repetition fromā¦
eve is skills without skill-books.
ppl do what entertains them so whatā¦
I dont visit our house then tell you how to live in your own home an yet endless players telling other players how to live in their own minds to make them conform.
That is peer pressure.
All of you must not be playing yourselves to all day for since the blackout it is the same people posting over a over an also quickly enough they much not be logged into eve an paying the gameā¦
A lot of Hype an BS in here.
CCP OWNS THE GAME
CCP WILL DO WHAT CCP WANTS TOO WITH THE GAME
NOTHING YOU CAN SAY WILL CHANGE EVEV NOT CCP
TO THE GUY that recently returned i understand your issues there some players simply want to relax to remove themselves from the RL stress of the other people out there in the real world.
Hell with eve online it is as if all i am reading in here is the same pot of phrases over an over as if the players which keep posting about the exact same play style type over an over being PVP assume that they can bring the real world into your personal play style or elseā¦
ZKILL do not mean a D A MNED THING in RL it is all make believe not real.
Go get a PHD or something in real life or make RL investments an live for change other than PVP is the only play styleā¦
YOU CAN NOT CHANGE WHAT CCP HAVE DONE SO THEREFORE NOT SATISFIED THEN LEAVE AN MOVE ON TO OTHER TYPES OF RECREATION AN ENJOYMENT.
Life is not that complicatedā¦
Nah I plan on staying and watching it fall apart , get my full cash value.
That is not completely true because investors own the game and CCP aka share holders. If the share holder is not happy they can vote (in the share holders meeting) what CCP should do and not do.
If you are a share holder their main motivation is that the company makes good profit (they just care how much that company makes money for them) and they get money back for their investment. So as a concerned share holder they might donāt like the direction of way the company is going if they will loose lot of paying customers they might vote and force the company fix their ā ā ā ā or they would withdraw their investment.
CCP is owned by Pearl Abyss which is publicly traded. Stock holders of Pearl Abyss would have to see a substantial effect in the companyās revenue to give a damn about the fine grain choices in game design.
Since there is no point being in null now iāve tried WH. Worked out magnificently! Slightly disappointed by the quality of moongoo, but otherwise very nice and quiet place. And i even donāt need to pay for omega to get that juicy stuff! Thanks, CCP for this generous offer! Mwehehehehehe
Next, try actually living in null, rather than renting through Rate My Ticks. Youāll be amazed at the difference in your experience.
If fella wants to join āRate My Ticksā or āRate my @#$ā and mine and be at the keyboard who the @#$A are you to judge how he plays the game?
Why do you even care?
I figured those guys have a kind of stick-measuring contest. Whoās got a longer ship or greenier killboard or tougher warp bubbles or whatever they can come up with to compare their social hierarchy.
Now that there is no local comms network in Null it should only be a matter of time before The Upwell Consortium require payment upfront for the protection of assets.
In a manner very similar to how loots drops work with wrecks. Random assets should drop from a destroyed structure at a rate determined by how much insurance coverage has been paid.
Basic - 50% recovered
Standard - 60%
Bronze - 70%
Silver - 80%
Gold - 90%
I should be noted that due to the lawlessness of the region of space The Upwell Consortium cannot guarantee a 100% recovery of any assets insured.
#EvE needs a larger ISK sink in null
Death is a punishment for PvE players who undock to fight PvP gangs. Amusing how so many complain about those who donāt undock and die when put in the same situation, also choose not to undock and die.
The 60+ people in my gaming community used to have about 15 people playing Eve. I went in there yesterday and some of them were playing warframe. Now we have a warframe channel with 3 rooms in it.
I wonder how many of the 15 will go back to eve after the blackout, if it ever stops.
Iām just saying that if he wants to evaluate what itās like to live in null, he should actually try it, instead of being Lady Scarletās blood bag tenant.
I think there is a contingent of people that like this blackout test to spite bots. At least I count myself in that group. If CCP can bring even better ideas to combat botting I am all for it.
Seriously when was the last time you went to Delve to PVP?
When WILL you go to Delve to PVP now the blackout is here?
Iāll take a guess - NEVER.
Delve is and never will be affected by the blackout, in fact i believe it will only profit as a region from it.
This blackout will do NOTHING to fix economic growth in Eve. All it will do as i said earlier is force more smaller groups into bloks which is the very last thing the game needs.
CCP need to find a way to break the patterns of risk aversion by those with the most to lose - If they canāt do that, no amount of change will fix the overall issues - Even pearl abyss wonāt be able to use their experience in breaking games to help, without gutting Eve as we know it and starting a new pathā¦
CCP need to listen to their WHOLE player base, not just those with a vested interest in silly changes.
