nice try but even though as a coder I can make bots I never understood the whole concept of cheating a game. I rarely used cheat codes in my 30 years of playing games. I am the absolute worst customer for bot products.

I have to say, I think my favorite part of this thread is all the PvPerâs telling krabbers to âadapt and get betterâ but the PvPers canât âadapt and get betterâ at killing things xD

Local will be like WH local. Unless people have alts on gates and are actively watching, there will be little intel. People ratting wonât know anything until enemy warps in on them.
I donât know how this will pan out exactly, but having an indy alt in null, I can say this will shut down a lot of mining. Capital production will be affected. Maybe a lot of players would like to see less emphasis on capitals. Hard for me to say how players will adapt. Maybe this would mean more content, but for those who believe null is 100% safe to mine in now, well, they donât know what theyâre talking about. A quick look at Rorqual killmails on zkill will dispel that notion.
I would like to see the bots dealt with though, as would many.

Bots can be used for a ton of stuff, they are automated software. Or modern way of life simply cannot function without them. You refer to specific kind of bots , game bots.
If I am a botter you can find very easily, go to my zkillboard and see how much I have killed or lost to see how deep my wallet is.

Itâs true though, we already looked at this. Itâll make pockets more important, as you can have one guy with a twitch cam watching the gate, and itâll make identifying new signatures and promptly closing wormholes more important. Itâll make d-scan very important of course, and moderating the price of your ratting ships. Also, making sure everyone has some throw-away response ships in the fort is important, so you can run off the odd interceptor or recon that gets through the net.
The question ratters will have to ask though, is it worth it? Highsec missions pay easily 80-100mil an hour blitzing, and with glamorex blitzing, easily 150 and up. A single ratting ship canât match what a single mission ship can, unless you are in a pure ratting fit carrier or a super. So other than playing with friends, itâs hard to tell people to stay in null when itâs just as easy to do PvE in highsec and just roam to null for PvP on your terms.

Essentially, itâs like finding out your company phone has been switched to a âlow costâ provider.
No big deal, you just have to plan a little bit for that lack of information.
I do it every day at work, I have a terrible cell provider.
