Lost about what to do next (newbro frustration?)

Hah!

Yeah that sounds pretty fun. I was actually just advised to go the filament route in rookie chat, but I honestly want to wait until I find some people to play with.

you mean the routes most people use, are always scouted and scanned, with close to no signatures? ok
i would rather be smart, jump to a random location and relocate if needed instead of traveling 25 jumps out of highsec just to end up in a gateacamp he prob doesnt know how to get out of

yet another brilliant take from you

you shall be known as 29dps from now on

imagine actually giving new players the advice to pay for two accounts, insanity

o/ Ryan Arbee.

Revenge is an important motivator in New Eden. You should keep a journal, noting all the people who have ever ganked you or slighted you in any way. Research these people a bit, their corp history and preferred locations, and record it so you don’t forget any of them.

Get your Trig and Edencom standing sorted so you don’t get blapped moving your stuffs to market. Getting positive Triglavian and EDENCOM standings - EVE University Wiki

Shoot a bill board and run away. Do this in lowsec.

Scan down and shoot a Mobile Tractor Unit. Do this in highsec.

Find people who are passionate about something on the forums. Then tell them they are wrong and copy paste a few arguments about why from old forum posts. The older the better.

What do you do in RL when you are board? Watch Netflix? Drink Beer? Play Bloons Tower defense V? All these things are even better when you are also logged into Eve!

Go to Uedama when Kusion or someone is ganking freighters. See if you can get on the kill mails. Shoot either the gankers or the bunny, or some of each! Although you will get Concordekinded if you shoot at the freighter so be prepared for that.

Try and steal some of the loot from said freighter before the gankers can get it. You’ll have to set your overview up properly for this.

Scan your way into a wormhole chain and see if you can hack any of the data/relic sites there. You’ll probably get blown up, but you’ll learn, and just maybe you make it out with a Billion ISK BP or something sweet!

Slowboat out to the great farmlands in 0.0 space and loiter there, for hours! Null bears love the company and will be happy for the conversation in local.

Learn the cloak / MWD trick and see if you can make it through Ahbazon, Gonditsa, and the like.

Make your pilgrimage to the Eve gate.

Go on a Spectre fleet roam. The FC should ask if anyone is a complete noob, if they don’t then by all means mention it. They’ll help you out.

Start cataloging the nebula. See if you can get screenshots of all of them from various locations and record your observations in a blog or just send them to people who have never played Eve. Its a great way to start conversion.

See if you can visit a local prison and speak with some of the inmates there. They might have some good ideas about scams you can run in Eve.

Watch Clear Skies, Tank CEO and Daakkon (I saw Tank just today, he is still in the game), Adhocracy, Dr.Ogres Let’s Play Eve, and more recently Eve a Nomad tale. Lots of great material in all those videos.

Listen to the Eve Chronicles Podcast. That guy does an amazing job vocalizing all those stories.

I wish I could wrap this up in a neat bow, but the list just goes on and on. Best of luck in your journeys and adventures Ryan!

That’s fine. Though I’d rather you called me ‘630 kills and 23 losses’ and I can call you ‘228 kills and 122 losses’.

you have 0 solo kills, so why act like this is an achievement, lol
but then on the other hand, you seem to think shooting stations is a flex, so…

Oh hell…yeah…I forgot to shoot lots of Ventures with my Loki

weird looking ventures arent they, 29dps

I’m not even sure why you’d take this route, since his kill board is objectively more impressive than yours.

I have more than one killboard

1.7 Trillion ISK in kills overall. Even one of my Alpha accounts with 28 kills has destroyed more ISK than Tirador.

Okay, so when you brag about your combined stats, make sure to provide a neat little table of all the characters included in them. Because otherwise, we’re basically like babies; if we can’t see you, you don’t exist.

Nooo…I’m not giving away all my alts. That would be folly.

Excellent. I respect your choice, and direct you to my previous comment.

So ? Your disbelief doesn’t change my stats.

I’ll probably convert another of my Alphas to make a third Omega soon…I do hope that annoys our resident anti multiboxing characters.

Sure it does. You’re obviously lying about your stats in order to make it seem like you’re better than you actually are. Pretty simple, really. Not even sure why we’re discussing this.

Nah…I don’t fall for that line of nonsense. Just go back to being irrelevant to my Eve.

Have a nice day.

I was relevant to your EVE at any point? That’s pretty scary.

Anyway, you brought this upon yourself. You chose to make fun of someone based on their stats, and when you do that, you should expect your own to be scrutinized. No one likes hearing that they suck, but you chose to make that your vector of attack against Tirador69, and it backfired. It’s perfectly alright to be an asshole, but the general advice is that if you do that, make sure you can actually back it up with substance, or you’re going to be the one at whom people laugh.

Er…no, once again you ( as alway ) misrepresent the facts. It was actually the other way round.

Nope, he started first with the 29 DPS stuff. …thus it was actually his attack that backfired.

And given that you actually joined in on that attack…that actually makes you somewhat of a hypocrite.

Can’t you get anything right ? My confidence in your credibility to lecture me on anything is severely eroded.

I’m pretty sure you’re the one who started with the 29 DPS stuff.

I merely presented it as a story…it was Tirador and yourself who then mocked it. Yet now, according to you…

“No one likes hearing that they suck”

Oh dear ! Caught in your own web.

Don’t mind me.
