Main AFK cloaky thread

Uh-huh. You would say that.

Edit: So you are a forum alt. Fine. But prove you were in Goons, post with your main.

I mean, I don’t wanna say that there’s noone I suspect to be botting (dat god dammn NYX with that cyrillic shipname looks somehow suspicious, especially when they steal my Sanctum), but this is ridiculous - unless you provide proof, then I’ll reconsider

Did you report him?

edit: ahh nvm sorry, i dont even care

I didn’t feel like tracking their activities for 24+hrs so nah.
And if you don’t care, why do you even make a post

I got upset because some people always talk about whats good for the economy and eve but i bet they never report the obvious bots in their alliance. Thats why i made a post. RAGEPOST!!! lmao ■■■■■■■ bots

Well, although I do understand you and I do despise bots as well (not the machincs behind them, though, comes with being interested in IT), this topic rlly isn’t the place for that
But I can understand you there. Rlly liked it when they caused some “trouble” in Oasa :smirk:

B2T now tho.

Stupid image spam.

The airstrike spotter in your example is not AFK, because they are calling in an airstrike. And the EVE equivalent requires the spotter to decloak and expose themselves to return fire, and the B-52 equivalent must also risk return fire. You are not nearly as clever as you seem to think you are, so please stop spamming this image.

You still did not get the problem that the picture explains very well, right?

Oh btw are you as clever as you seem to think you are?

Considering how many members Goons have, this would absolutely have leaked. But alas it hasn’t, making it highly likely you’re just lying. Again.

It doesn’t explain anything well because it doesn’t have anything to do with EVE game mechanics. The picture has an “AFK cloaker” that doesn’t need to decloak to engage a target, and a “hotdrop fleet” that can kill a target from beyond its reach without ever facing return fire. Neither of those things exist in EVE. An AFK cloaker that is immune to attack can not do anything but sit idle in space, and a hotdrop fleet has to engage in direct combat (with considerable risk of annihilation) to kill its prey once the AFK cloaker has pinned down a target.

We dropped 400 bombers on a carrier. All the action took only a few seconds then we warped to a safe and cloaked. Our hunter found the target with local, so why cant you? lol

This is a lie and here’s the proof:
If you dropped more than one fleet of bombers (400>255) on one carrier and it died within seconds, you would have needed at least two cynos which would have been burning at the same time.

I didnt count, just said a big enough number. Bombers bar, i bet you know us

Bombers bar FTW!

What does that have to do with anything? The picture specifically mentions an AFK cloaker. An AFK cloaker can not find a target and can not drop 400 bombers on anything, because the AFK cloaker is AFK.

And TBH all you’ve demonstrated is that having a 400v1 is very effective. Go you I guess?

He can be afk for months, or even years TOTALLY SAFE IN HOSTILE SPACE WHILE UNDOCKED and when he feels entitled to kill something, he can. This is broken.

60 pilots were able to target and damage the ship, it blowed up before the rest could have even targeted lol. The guys unable to find targets with local should really fly with us, because you really need some practice.

So what? Don’t leave a vulnerable target that he can kill. He can sit there for years, and all he will accomplish is paying $15/month to sit there. Then close local so you don’t have to be annoyed by his presence. Because that’s the root of the problem, local gives you information that you shouldn’t have access to.

And regardless of your whining about being able to see a name in local, the picture specifies an AFK player. A player who is killing something is not AFK.

As i said before i can imagine you closing your eyes and running away when a problem comes, but im not that type. We want to kill thoose who want to kill or just annoy us. This is our space, you have no business here unless we let you be here or you have the force to take it from us.
