There are other threads on this forum complaining that monopolistic mining crews are ganking and bumping other miners. So to answer your question: other miners are threatened by your desire to take “their” ISK. And every every other player is threatened by your inflationary desire for risk-free ISK.
You can really enjoy Eve if you can learn to cope with a little risk.
