They have been responding, mate. Look a little higher in this thread.
And there response was everything works fine, while its clearly not.
something like
“The new chat cluster for EVE Online was wrangled under control this afternoon, the performance issues were fully fixed as of 15:28 today.” (edit: today was yesterday)
funny, cause local showed just my corpmembers and myself. so i undocked and a red was infront of the station.
redocked and they said that 3 reds are in the system.
corp members are shown red, ally members are shown red, some cahts arent reentered correctly,…
Jumping to jita … local loading … awesome job CCP :)))))))) NOT
This counting looks like something lamentable and pathethic at the same time.
-
I can’t resize chat windows
-
Sometimes I don’t see player numbers for channels ( how many people are in that channel ), let’s say local or help channel, i only see without any number, please move number to the right side of the chat window like we had before the patch.

Sometimes when i get into the game, or while jumping to new system / loading channels slows down GPU performance to 1fps.
-
EVENT: sometimes npc’s don’t spawn in “the hunt” sites or the site is empty with no wrecks and full pods.
What you mean you don’t enjoy only getting 1-2 fps for 10-15 seconds while local loads?
that was almost a minute.
- There used to be a list of channels I own, was called my channels or something like that. This was in the “Open channels” dialogue box.
- Some existing channels are “dead” after logon and I have to leave and re-join to see activity. German and English Help are examples for this.
- The Egg sites don’t spawn NPCs for 5-10 minutes after the initial wave. This might be on purpose to give time for egg looting, but is just plain awful. I also lament the lack of eggs. Hmm, eggs. Seriously, three sites in row didn’t have eggs. dubbleuuuteeefff
Local still ■■■■■■ up, showing only 5 pilots in system, 4 docked including myself leaves 1 in space or docked elsewhere in system. I undock and there’s 3 war targets sat on the undock (Non show in local currently) so still standings are messed up and the player count of local is ■■■■■■ up also.
NO LOCAL CHAT , CAN NOT INVITE TO CONVERSATION, DO NOT SEE FLEET CHAT , CAN NOT SPEAK WITH MY CORP ALLIANCE MEMBERS , WTF ?!?!!?
CCP, did you forget to add “Cap Male Guristas” to the market, or is it deliberately hidden from there? Just looted one off a guristas wreck.
Not having the local chat is going to be exploited by gankers like CODE.
The gate mechanics register a person coming into the system because the gate is a public access point.
Why should a public access point into a system keep others who are mining and running missions from knowing who is coming and going in the system?
The next thing you know everyone will want the local chat to keep people using cyno’s from showing up in local as well.
I would consider anyone ganking in a system where the local chat channel does not show their presence as a reason to ban them for purposely exploiting the bug.
Before I started the client after the patch, I renamed my “logs” folder in the EvE documents folder. I had no problems with chats when logging in, except from Jita performance (I had to close the chat to play). Maybe this helps.
Local is still screwed.
Random blues are showing as neuts.
I had 3 characters in the same system, all were showing different blue characters as neutral.
It seems that banning 1 person from a channel also kicks (but not bans) (almost) every non-operator…
Guys, most locals are fine. if you have problems with standings just uncheck and check the compact member list. now as far as ive seen in the last hours, locals are working just fine
I concur with Sgt Ocker. Chat is still broken…badly.
Across all of my accounts I have about 65 player controlled chat channels. After the patch, 53 chat channels disappeared.
After the announcement yesterday proclaiming the “fix”, I went through my logs, found all 65 chats and reentered those chats on my accounts.
Today, I log in, and I have 12 chats available.
53 chats gone, again.
NOTE: for others who are suffering from the same inadequacy. If you have the game set up to record all chat logs, there will be a folder on your computer where this information is stored. You can order this info filed alphabetically and recover the chat channel names this way.
Once you have the names, manually retype the chat channel name in the “Channels” interface. This will reconnect those chats.
Now, this is the important part. Once the chat is restored in the “Channels” interface, open your ingame notepad, create a new note, and drag the chat channel name (you wish to save) from the “Channels” interface to the notepad note.
The Notepad is functioning normally and will record the name of the chat, so if your chat channels are lost, again, you won’t suffer this inconvenience again.
Actually, once recorded in the notepad, you can bypass the “Channels” interface entirely, if you wish.
As of now:
- Graphical issues with gates and citadel models not rendering (not me but half my fleet)
- Stacked weapons are going through ammo at different rates (up to 6 charge discrepancy I’ve seen) .
- Event sites, as mentioned, has delayed spawns.
