There’s no indication that the formula is changing, just the caps. So yes, you’d hit 30 minutes red timer on your second jump.
It would actually be 30 minutes on your 3rd jump - The first 2 are 7 minutes each. (Or Fozzie is telling porkies)
After this change the jump reactivation cooldowns for max-length carrier jumps made in the fastest possible succession would be 7 minutes, then 7 minutes again, then just under 30 minutes for subsequent jumps. Waiting out the fatigue timer would still work for reducing the activation cooldowns, but for most long distance travel jumping as quickly as possible and sitting at the new lower cap would become the optimal strategy.
This isn’t an “iteration”… it’s a CAPITULATION. Which major alliance has forced you to “bend the knee” this time ?
At least save yourselves the hypocrisy and just get rid of fatigue altogether… because that’s exactly what you’re going to do in 6 to 12 months anyway. This charade of knocking it down by 95%… FFS… grow a pair and admit you’d rather go the full 100%.
Naw. Last keepstar fight everyone who was going to be there was there. People have a week to bring stuff in range to show down so that will not change the amount of people in giant fights.
WTF ?!?! I think Jump fatigue changes so big. Again all powerblocks can be everywere in any timers. For one day they will can come from anywhere. I think maximum blue timer need be around 40hours (some less than a two day). And maximum oranje time around 2 hour. Then moving ops will take a whole evening or two. And evening or two to return. These changes will not allow you to come to any place on the map on any timer. But it will smooth out penalties for too much activity for capships.
This goes too far. I hate the fatigue mechanic but you’re basically eliminating it here and making it far too easy to get capitals from one end of the map to another in a very short time-frame.
What we really need is a brand new system. If you can’t deliver that then you need to at least make sure that any changes here make Q.O.L. better without disrupting the current gameplay balance.
Pull back these changes and make the jump timer cap at one-and-a-half hours and fatigue cap at twelve hours.
Powerblocs create content, drive narrative, make the stories. Non entity “small alliances” do nothing except take up space. Small alliances who want small gang action can go to faction warfare.
With this proposed changes the better way would actually be to just scrap it and replace with a flat 30min cooldown for the char.
BTW, can you make all Upwell structures in low and nullsec become jumpable cyno beacons (highslot module)? This would give people a chance on using jump drives who do not want to manage an army of cyno alts, despite this will cut in your revenue.
This change is a joke right. Whats the purpose of having 2 timers if I can jump in 30 minutes anyway. I agree with one poster about no less then 1 hour and you should hit that hour easy.
Supers have been a pain since Dominion. That needs a “Fix”, as In remove them.
