Just wondering when we might see a Minmatar based Pirate faction of flyable ships, We have the guristas as faction whos whole motto is caldari ships but better, we have blood raiders who have a couple unique ships but it just amarr ships but better, we have serpentis which is also gallente ships but better. So i’m wondering when we will get a pretty tempest or maelstrum in pirate colors and stats? Or are the pirates too good to use good ol rusty minmatar ships??
The Angel Cartel and Deathless are heavily influenced by the Minmatar in lore and ship functionality (projectiles as primary/secondary weapons respectively, low signature and high speed). Treat them as the Minmatar pirate ships.
That the Guristas and Serpentis are just reskins of Caldari and Gallente ships are not points in their favour, it only makes them significantly less interesting in most players eyes. Nothing’s stopping you from making a Rupture skin that copies the Angel camo, if that’s all you’re after.

Angel ships are Minmatar, just better. Basicalliy like the other pirate factions…
Dramiel, Mekubal, Cynabal, Khizriel, Machariel, Sarathiel, and Azariel are the ships of the Minmatar based pirate faction, the Angel Cartel.
If you want Minmatar ships with Angel skins, you want to buy Brutor skins off the market to get something close to the Angel camo pattern.
Most pirate factions fly thier own hulls. Not sure why Serpentis don’t, but I know the lore behind Guristas using modified Caldari ships is because Fatal wants to be a prick about how he’s better at Caldari tech than the Caldari are.
The Serpentis ships we fight aren’t actually Serpentis, they’re Guardian Angels, basically a mercenary division of the Angel Cartel who are contracted out to provide security for Serpentis installations. But yeah, there’s not really any explanation for why they use modified Gallente hulls rather than the standard Angel ones.
The Rabbit. Fatal was the tough guy who forgot to update his clone and got podded, Rabbit is the nerd who comes up with all their cool tech and currently runs the Guristas on his own.
