I can explain it but it seems I cant make you understand it. Best of luck in the game!
That’s exactly what I was saying.
I’m talking about Americans and you are making it about an American. Whatever it takes to make you right and me wrong.
Do you have a blood disorder where you can die from a scratch?
Foggy, I like you but this???
Not entirely no. Hemophilia will not kill you via bleeding to death, but you will bleed out a lot longer if something does not contain the blood.
You gotta have a sense of humor over this game or you will end up posting in the forums!
When I read the update and it said 66 new posts to the thread I thought this had to be a mistake, and then I realised that @ISD_Buldath (I think) had had to remove and flag a bunch.
When @ISD_Dorrim_Barstorlode allowed this thread to continue, way back on May 27th this year, I really hoped people wouldn’t mess it up but having read some posts over the last few weeks I think this is a possibility due to how some people are writing.
The fact that I’ve read at least two posts containing personal attacks and one which mentions disability in a pejorative way is really depressing.
If you’re thinking of writing something offensive or personally insulting about another person, please don’t. It takes the discussion nowhere and it’s really boring for others to have to read your verbal tantrum.
By all means, let’s have a robust discussion but let’s have one where we intelligently and articulately discuss the issues at hand rather than any perceived learning disability.
IMHO @ISD_Dorrim_Barstorlode was really cool when they allowed people to discuss the issues based around my original post. I really hope people continue to act sensibly here and take up this generous offer rather than creating a situation whereby the thread gets closed down because of idiocy.
Please don’t create a situation whereby this happens.
I guess some people just don’t get it. When you post in the forums, you consent to pvp just like if you undock in the game.
I know (they’ve identified where they are from) that some of the worst offenders are from outside of the US.
You do not pay for it.
That’s how - a whole 5 seconds of ‘hoop-jumping’
You will have to ask Andersen, the self proclaimed Uberspecialist on the subject.
Imo, Eve has one of the best moderated forums on the internet. Other forums have degenerated into off-topic rantings, poltical partisanship, and culture wars. Eve has managed to stay above all that, for the most part.
How did you acquire that knowledge? Visited all the forums on the internet?
No. But of all those I have visited, no matter the subject matter, they’ve all degenerated into culture war crap.
Are you from America?
The last 12 hours alone show examplary what is wrong with this forum…too many toxic people that really think their-and only their- opinion is ‘right’ and ANY other opinion can be muted because only THEIR opinion is the truth…a self-confirming assumption…
On the other hand the same people have the ability to actually MUTE any other opinion than theirs via flagging…and the mods call this a ‘good’ feature…
Very conviniend for toxic people AND the mods but so far from the truth it really hurts the brain…
I don’t know about you but I would delete flagging if i would have anything to say…
I REALLY hope you are joking…
This post alone proves you wrong.
You are again applying your admittedly bad but also not universal experience with flagging, to all cases of flagging. And applying more effect to flagging than it truly has.
“people have the ability to actually MUTE any other opinion than theirs via flagging”
This is not true. Muting a player means removing their voice from the forums. Flagging a post 1) does not remove the post from the forum (hiding from immediate view and allowing players to click through to see it is not removing it - it makes it more difficult to see, yes, but that is not the same effect as removing it entirey); and 2) does not remove the ability of the flagged poster to edit their post (unhiding it as a result) or make additional posts.
I agree that your experience with flagging has been a bad one. That is not grounds for taking flagging away from everyone, however, as there are valid uses for flagging that have been appropriately deployed in the forum.

Ah come on…you KNOW that most flagged posts are flagged again even after being edited and re-opened in the process simply because they represent an unwanted opinion and as a result of the re-flagging deleted by the mods without even being read in context…
Flagging IS a weapon nothing more and this IS abused…
