They already go to data/relic, have been jumped a number of times.
oh, ok. Didn’t know. Unfortunately, we kind of don’t have one in Null.
They don’y visit combat sites, ore anoms or moons. Which I think is fair enough in hisec, alphas/n00bs need some safe spaces to learn the game without getting instablapped I think.
But hisec Ice anoms, maybe, they are omega only so should know what they are doing.
Agreed, I’m quite happy to wait for the eventual rebalance, adapt, and carry on having fun.
if you mean the god forsaken trig scouts ya they do visit moons they scan any player made station in system and all moon mining beacons
You cant understand problem (strange that you told you are industrialist and post such text). If CCP broke meta mining then whole industry and economic will burn wild fire (they know about this thats why they tell about risks in their Dev). If ore will dissapear then we will start to sell minerals for cosmic price. Ok you will buy it and build ships and stuff - but nobody will buy it for new meta price. After they remove crockite price for noxcium up x2 and today it 700+. 700+ instead 200+. And this will be with other minerals. Then we will get new meta where BS will be cost 1b+ And capitals… I dont whant even talk (today here in Goonswarm 1st titan were sold for 60 b.) You can rejoice now but when economic will be burned nobody will be glad. Nice try to stimulate PvP activity. nice try. I am old miner and i remmember that days when we have such prices. You whant this again? Ok. as for Goonswarm - it does not matter will noxcium cost 700 or 7000 for 1 mineral but for another space… Will see. GL CCP. I hope you will not fail again.
good luck with wit building t2 ships when you cant build the t1 ship that is required
Price for Nocxium is 300 if you know what you are doing. As i got it from all the whining of the EVE Community since iam playing this game apparently the economy is already broken und Titans are to cheap. Titans beeing more expensive is actually how it should be. As to prices…
There is no lack of ISK in the game. As a new player currently i do have the money to buy T2 Cruisers but skillwise i cant fly them yet. So again, i dont see how there is a problem.
T1 Ships currently amount to 1-5% of production cost of a T2 ship. Even if the price for them quadrupled the are still affordable. And the price for T1 Ships wont quadruple.
Those are just speculators. Wait a week or two for real price changes.
Not speculation. Price right now has doubled to over 400+ when it comes to the cheapest Nocxium you can find. There is people who have large stockpiles of ore. But most of these people arent selling the ore at the old prices as its more value for them to hold on to it and sell for a premium after market crashes. That wont be today but rather next month when moon changes hits us. Give it another month after moon changes and stockpiles start to run out, then we get to the shortage that CCP wants. Thats when prices will really skyrocket.
So the worst is to come. This will be like blackout where CCP puts the game through some kind of hell to get data for a few months and afterwards they will readjust because they realise they went too far based on the data they collect. It will be the 1920s depression of the eve economy. It will come and go.
I need a rorqual so im going to wait for moon change when people start to panic sell their rorqs.
This goes without saying, since CCP promised there would be more changes in shortage phase.
However, current prices are not real indicators. For example, take Raven. Just after the changes the Jita price of it climbed up to about 200m - that is not because cost of manufacturing rose, that’s because speculators tried to grab fast profit. Now it is back to 160m-ish.
What i don’t understand is why people are complaining and whining whereas we don’t know yet what will be the changes planed for the next month (the redistribution phase etc of the dev post), and the final result.
I am an explo, if CCP said “we are going to reduce significantly the loot value in relic sites for one month and then change it the next month for somethg different”, i think i could wait one month before whining and say “CCP i will unsub”!
I don’t mine very much now, got better things to do, but back in the day when I was building Orcas, Freighters, Bowheads & Fuel Blocks I found most miners were pretty lazy. They weren’t prepared to go find the best resources, weren’t prepared to put the logistics together to make an operation efficient and would constantly moan about things that made their play remotely difficult. But then my endpoint wasn’t a hold full of ore it was building stuff and I can do many things (and do) to gain resources to do that.
So the whining is generally from those who feel their comfy playstyle threatened, which I understand.
For me, I play eve cos it’s takes effort to get things done and there are associated risks as well. But a lot of players would be happy with a big green “Give me isk!” button instead of a client (shrugs).
i fully agree
that’s why we see some posts like “make MTU able to drag only non-empty cans in abyssal sites”, “make relic sites able to be found without the need to scan them”, or “remove the time to warp from a point to another, i don’t like spending time on traveling”
But here, we should all calm down and just wait one month to see what will be the next phase… and then, adapt (or leave)
With the changes and the increase in prices should encourage miners to sell stockpiled resources, and get indie players more activity sourcing the best supply source they can to get the best costing they can.
It economics low supplied and high demand, equals higher prices, while excess of supplies equals lower prices.
As i see it, this will cause a livening of the market of ores and minerals. Indie corps will have to source those ores or minerals they no longer have in local systems from other or arrange contracts to get what they’re missing.
This will mean logistic corps will be back in demand to move these orders around, miner corps all over new eden have the possiblity to making new trade agreements with corps in other regions.
But this won’t happen until corp stockpiles get low, and that’s why CCP is doing the stages, where shortage stage is designed to get large/mega corps to use up stockpiles, and forced to do massive mining operations to just cover production runs, and to start contracting in extra ores/minerals they require.
To be honest CCP have thought this out well, it seems too many are only looking short-term/now, and not at the long-term/big picture effects.
I suggest have a think about each stage and what each are designed to do, think like a business owner or a supplier. And you’ll see exactly what is planned and the goal of this.
That’s not really true. There already was a shortage of ravens I think two weeks ago. Also typhoons, mallers, nades(since 8th), feroxes, harbinger, cyclones(since 31st). Only megathorns, drakes, oracles, harbingers, prophecy, vexors, cormorants, merlins, herons I saw a shortage after CCP announcement.
source : I had those in stock from the shortages.
For 14 years there was no mining PWN mobile aspect to the Rorqual, no moon mining in highsec at all, and the Orca wasn’t the mining power house it is now.
Industry survived fine then.
It’s just an adjustment in perspective, back hopefully to smaller ships for mining and pvp, but the game will be fine.
