Brisc made it sound like they were going to offer a subscription deal. That’s cool I guess, but what about account security?

I think it’s pretty clear that the only way they can implement something like subscription discounts for multi account holders if they know how many accounts folks have. They track these via email. If you’ve got two factor authentication set up - not the email kind - that should solve the security concerns.

Also, how about giving multi-account players some of the QoL stuff they’ve been asking for.

So, I intentionally put my accounts on different emails in order to not put all my eggs in one basket. Now, CCP is telling me to put all my accounts on one email? Why? So I got an email today telling me there are benefits to putting all my accounts under the same email. This seems fine but it left out one important bit of information. What the bloody ding ding are the benefits to doing this?!

Is this something most people don’t do? I have had 4 accounts since 2007 mostly active at all times all under the same email just with different account names.

Imagine: You get a single account, with unlimited slots, if a toon is Alpha, only one can log in at the same time. But all you Omega toons can login together (if you want). If you have a subscription, you can move that Omega to any toon you wish, at any time.

A tiered subscription model, more Omega subscriptions on the same account either gets you a discount or other rewards, like x amount of Plex per month for example…

Most of my accounts were already under the same address so I could not do much in response to that email. I hope being a model citizen will not exclude me from any of those mysterious benefits supposedly coming up.

There was some code in the email that suggests a 30% discount on multi accounts, which would put the multi account price back down to around the pre-increase cost per month

A lot of my accounts were sharing my main email address, but 8 didn’t, so I changed that. But after 24h they are still at ‘pending changing e-mail address’… That is kinda weird!
