Down on the boulevard, there was this place that served a great Philly-Cheese Streak. Closed in the 1990s.

Oh you’re making me hungry now. I love Philly-Cheese Steak Sandwiches! Dip it in that sauce, yum!

…where no capsuleer has gone before, lol
Thanks for the vid. I haven’t seen that episode! Which one is it? I want to see it.
Scotty played by James Doohan is my favorite character :hugs:

This looks strangely like a Caldari ship

Sorry for not replying sooner. I have not seen some of my friends in months. So I took the weekend off.

Bummer you asked to have the other thd closed before I could reply. It would have made for a good PR stunt! It’s not everyday a new player gets 1 bil for an excellent post! (don’t spend it all in one place!)

All I ask is if you decide to leave the game, you donate your stuff to some of the in game charities.

Well, I could post for near eternity then.

The Imperial Assault Gunboat was mentioned. To be sure, that ship in the X-wing vs. Tie Fighter was a seriously formidable ship. A bit over-powered even, considering how much shield, armor, maneuverability and firepower it had. It was hard to die in that, because when you realized you were going to die you still had time to just warp out. You would be taking even more damage for probably up to ten seconds before warp kicked in.

Still, I preferred the Advanced Imperial Tie Fighter which was also OP. Less armor and shield but it made up for it in speed and maneuverability. Yet my favorite was the A-wing. It was my favorite for both its design aesthetic and for being the fastest. Using that speed to win was a challenge. I popped many gunboats and advanced tie fighters in many single engagments with it. Part of that though was having a purpose built game chair with stick and throttle attached (rudder pedals as well for other games but sadly, could not be used with that series).

Also for speed, using the battle strategy of speed at the expense of everything else, and small, sleek design aesthetic my other similar favorite of this category is the Valkyrie ship from Battle Beyond the Stars. This might be the only picture of it available on the net. I searched, found nothing and had to take a screenshot and enhance it myself. Even in the movie you can hardly see it.

Don’t even mention it and you were right, EVE without friends is like a picnic alone. I got accepted into a cool corporation and made myself a few friends!

Sorry, I didn’t want to leave the thread open for trolls to get their jollies off.
I haven’t spent a cent. Planning to keep it and add to it.

I don’t plan to leave the game. I plan to be the last one flying before they close the servers, lol, but by the off chance I rage quit ( not likely ) I’ll contract everything to you + the isk.

I know a couple of forum members who are cringing now, lol.

Yea, I got reprimanded for confusing it to a Battlestar Galactica ship . I looked for the X-wing game and was surprised they’re asking money for that old game. Since I’m planning to go Omega I didn’t buy it.

Nice ship. I’ll check out Battle Beyond the Stars because I’m curious like that.
Thanks for the pics :kissing_heart:

I haven’t seen it posted, but my favorite ship has been, for a very long time, the Miranda Class, first featured in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Kahn.

It looks good, to me, and the lore surrounding it tends to paint it as a not so glamorous workhorse. It was easy to construct, customizable, and reliable, and commonly in active service to Starfleet for around a century.

More than flash and fame, I admire that which serves quietly with no expectation of glory. That which can be counted on to do the jobs that need done, but for which there is no promised reward beyond the completion of the task.

Thank you for posting :heartpulse:
Hey, wasn’t that the ship captained by Worf in First Contact? Ryker called it “little”, lol.
It’s a nice ship. Versatile and agile.

I believe that, In First Contact, Worf commanded the Defiant.

The Defiant, yes thank you. Tough “little” ship!

It does say Defiant on the hull though. Sometimes the movies don’t follow the correct schematics. I’m sure there are errors between the Enterprise schematics and what they show in movie also… Only hard-core fans notice

Big mistake. X-Wing is a much better game than EVE and a much better use of your money.

(Just be aware that it’s a game from before the era of participation trophies. Some of the missions are hard and there is no quicksave function, you can let a single TIE bomber slip through to kill the ship you’re supposed to escort and instantly lose 30 minutes of work. Beating the game is earned, not given.)

Will do

Hi All

So far this topic has listed virtually every Sci-Fi Space Craft I have ever loved

But it is missing one major designer of Sci-Fi Space Craft and that is Chris Foss. His visions of Space were on the covers of many of the famous Sci-Fiction books I read in my youth back in the 1970’s, and help to inspire me into become a Scientist

Chris Foss - Artist

Finally, personally I feel the following Video is a masterpiece in showing off the pure artistry of EVE Online’s Universe and Ships.
