My small industry initiative in Venal

Perhaps, Avio, your first order of business then if you’d like to drive a sort of Triglavian tourism business in your area of nullsec isn’t to run the filaments yourself, but to provide the security for those that do. I’m sure if you could make such a thing thus preferable to running them in higher security space by establishing your reputation thus (and as that reputation grows, you’ll probably have more hunters to deal with in order to maintain that security) then that would probably be the most effective way to establish your market.

The way that plays out is: as people start running the abyss there, filaments will be on the market from the abyss runners. At the same time, as word gets out, yeah, you’ll get more hunters. So you’ll need more defenders. Pretty soon, you’re building an organization to meet the needs of those defenders—what do they do for money when there’s nobody paying for defense? What do they do for boredom during the slow periods? How do you keep them involved long-term?

Probably missioning, ratting, mining… you know, things to keep those pilots in the area when they’re not protecting someone. Soon enough… you’re running a nullsec group.

Everyone gets started somewhere, I suppose.

Uh. Important note, Arrendis? Unless this has changed in the last few weeks, CONCORD never did get its suspect flagging system back online after the Triglavians hacked it.

No? Well, even less reason, then.

I mean hey, if you wanna talk about “sanctioned” atrocities, how about we talk about the sanctioned wholesale slaughter of anyone affiliated with the Guristas? CONCORD has flat-rate bounties on practically every ship in the Guristas fleet. Ships that prolly haven’t seen even seen their first raid of operation already has a bounty copied and pasted onto them. Even their damn mining fleets in Venal have bounties on them, what did they even do?

You ever wonder what makes someone Guristas? What draws them to that crowd? Yeah, plenty of assholes that just want a paycheck and nothing more, but the Guristas is also made up of undesirables that were pushed out of their homes. The Guristas is afterall, a haven for exiles of the Caldari State. All of these people are targets of CONCORD and the Empires, they’ll happily and eagerly sick a bunch of Capsuleers after them to massacre them indiscriminately and not ask a single question.

An idea I’m not against, problem is finding clients who would extend that kind of trust but, as you put it I need to build a reputation.

I should also inform everyone here in this thread that filaments and trigalvian tech is only part of a larger marketing operation I’m trying to pull off. It’s in no way my top priority right now.

What we got here is an update

As my ability to put up more sale orders increases, so does the product on the 6NJ markets.

New Items

  • Magnetic Field Stabilizers I

  • Ballistic Control Unit I

  • Capacitor Flex Coil I

  • Reactor Control Unit I

Also I think it’s best if i lay out the current plan of my industry

Current Plan

  • Maintain stock of items already up on the market

  • Expand selection of tier one frigates (All tier one interceptors and exploration frigates are in stock, Incursus, Merlin, Rifter and punisher next in line.)

  • Expand market on modules to complement new frigates (Turrets, ammo, electronic warfare, etc etc)

  • Stock up on Planetary command centers (Buy orders are currently up, 160,000 ISk a pop)

Once again i say tier one technology is very underwhelming, but it’s far easier mass produce and friendly to fresher pilots that are looking to get out of high security space and come out to Venal to help the Guristas out with a few small problems. As such, i can’t solely market towards the more veteran pilots in these parts, nor can i assume everyone that comes up here will be Caldari, thus need to make frigates of Amarrian, Gallente and Matari design to compliment any pilot of any origin out in these parts.

Also, i have some long term points to present

Current Long-term goals

  • Stock the markets with Small and Medium mobile warp disputers (They would sell)

  • Begin production on either destroyer-class vessels

  • Begin production on additional Tier one industrial hulls (Badger is currently in stock, Mammoth, Tayra, Epithal and so forth are all out of stock)

  • Expand Triglavian tech market

Now…This is all alot of work that needs to be done, a lot of work that’s gonna require a lot of materials to get done. So that’s where anyone here reading can come in and give me a hand - I need materials of all types like Isogen, Pyerite and even Tritanium! If anyone is feeling brave, I’m willing to pay handsomely to anyone who wants to run up some goods for me, prices can be negotiated long in advance - Just contact me directly via mail or private channel.

Speaking of which, a new buy order is up for Metal Scraps in the Guristas Production Shipyard for 5,000 ISK a unit, the highest price for the junk in New Eden at the moment. What do i need this garbage for? well, to melt it down into trit of course! You’d be amazed how useful this stuff is out here where there’s barely any material on the market. easy to trasnport to, you can get a bulk of the stuff in a Interceptor no problem.

Another update on the progess thus far

New Items

  • Warp Scrambler I

  • Ice Mining Laser I ( The nearby system of Y-4CFK tpyically has ice around to harvest)

  • Light Missile Launcher I

  • Small Shield Booster I

  • Station Containers

  • Warp Core Stabilizer I (Oh don’t give me that look, they’re easy to produce and only 3 on the market of all Venal!)

Production will continue, and when i get around to it, I will put up a proper list off all the items i currently have in sale in 6NJ8-V in the original opening post.

My name is Yaro and I support this product or service!

I must admit, your enterprise is somewhat inspiring. It is wonderful to see how the Zaibatsu have reached out to an often overlooked group.

Damn straight.

Should go ahead and mention that Yarosara here has now played a role in my Initiative. Yarosara here has granted me access to a library of blueprints of her own in the Guristas testing facility in Y-4CFK. For a price, I have obtained a bulk of new blueprints ranging from shield ranking modules to hybrid turrets of small and medium sizes. Frigates blueprints like the Navitas, Bantam, Griffin and Maulus now enter my collection. Along with designs for the Cormorant and Corax!

The beat part is? Nearly all these blueprints I talk about have been researched extensively to cut down on material and time waste, I dare say they’re perfect, there’s no longer any input I can give these blueprints to maximize their efficiency.

Absolutely legendary stuff, thank you once again @Yarosara_Ruil

I apologize to any Gurista who mistake my tone for patronizing, I do understand i speak from the standpoint of privilege of being a Capsuleer, but yes I would say the Guristas are an overlooked group that’s commonly dusted aside as being nothing more than a bunch if savages that sooner need a bullet to their brain than a olive branch.

I however, have met nothing but human beings since coming out here and working with them. They’re maybe a little rowdy and unpredictable at times…But human beings nonetheless.

I should clarify however that this industry project is more of a “Me” thing as the title implies. As a Capsuleer I’m allowed some amount fo autonomy. That said, the Raata Zaibatsu itself is in fact reaching out in some manner in the form of a Wayist shrine we’ve funded the opening of on the Guristas logistical station in N5Y-4N.

In a way, the profits I make off these sales will help keep that shrine open. Unfontutely the rates the Guristas are changing for space is quite steep, so not only will sales help keep my inaitibr expanded - but help keep the door open to a shrine that can help enlighten dome of the Gurista out here…

If you find the whole thing inspiring, why not come out here and join me? I got plenty of ships to help kit you out I’m always looking for pilots out here to cut a deal with, buy some ore or loot from some security op to scrap down.

New items have hit the marketplace!

New Items

  • Light Neutron Blaster I

  • Light Ion blaster I

  • Small Shield Extender I

  • Core Scanner Probe I

  • Incursus

  • Worm (Felt it was only appropriate to put some up on the market)

In order to put in these new sell orders, i have temporarily taken down the six buy orders for Planetary command centers. That said, I’m still looking to purchase command centers at 160,000 ISK a unit.

In other news, I made a complete list of my entire inventory in the original post. Qantutiy amounts will not be soon to make it easier to update the list in the future, but current prices will be shown - and up to suggestion.

Why not import meta variants instead of seeding T1 modules, which are inferior to their meta counterparts from all aspects (including cost)? I’m sure you’d appreciate vacating some production lines for other stuff too.

Where’s the fun in importing? Let’s create some things! Burn up some blueprint copies!

Besides, i wanna lay down a solid foundation of common grade modules…Keep it simple, easy to produce in bulk. The supply comes directly from me in-house, i don’t have to constantly fly back and forth from a trade hub back in the mainland to make sure all my goods are stocked, i’ll just manufacture them myself. And no, i don’t have access to a jump freighter.

Oh it’s a fun project then. More power to you sir.

Its more of a matter if finding enjoyment in it, why not right? Make it interesting to myself to keep me motivated.

At the same time, it gives me a little pride in myself that all these goods I’m selling out of this port are built by me…With the assistance of factory-grade equipment and staff - yes. That said, these are products I sourced the materials for and funded the creation of.

I’ll constantly check my market transactions for Capsuleers that purchase my goods. One time a Capsuleer bought a simple badger from me…and a day later? I’ll see that same pilot flying around system in a badger.

I know where they got that Badger from, I know who they bought it from and I know how it was built.

Now, I wanna use this update as an opportunity to tell everyone a story about a pilot I’ve met in this region though my industry efforts out here.

See, it all starts with me looking over my market transactions one day, and seeing that one of my Condors was purchased. Always brings a smile to my face when even a single unit of anything I’m selling out here is bought.

Now typically, I’ll occasionally attempt to contact people who buy my goods to see if I can get some knowledge on what their needs or wants are so I can adjust my production priorities. So I send the buyer a message, pilot’s name was Eddiie of a corp called Hooded Underworld Guys .Residents of 6NJ8-V in fact, very local to these parts.

Now Eddiie hits me back and is actually cordial, I asked him what he was using his Condor for and he told me they gave it a rookie capsuleer they popped that was coming into Venal.

An honorable gesture I thought, but i did some digging on their public killboard ((Not sure if I’m allowed to link killboards here)) and found the pilot in question, Nina Siccoli. A Caldari Capsuleer fresh out of the State War Academy.

So I reach out to Nina and ask what it is she was looking for out here, figured they were trying to put in work with the Guristas…So hey, I hooked her up with a worm I’d constructed, along with a basic line of tier one modules. Encourage them to give it another go. And latter a venture and badger to continue help get them settled in.

And she came back alright. She even started growing a closer bond with the Hooded Underworld chaps I mentioned prior, tagged along to hunt some MTUs one day even. Even helped me bookmark a wormhole connection back to high security space to source some new blueprints! A wormhole that she would also use to smuggle over 150,000 units of pyerite for me into 6NJ8-V with a Heron before the gate collapsed! Pyerite is a material I currently have up as a buy order for 10 ISK a unit, five more than Jita at the time of posting.

Then? Not more than 12 or 15 hours after making this post - I helped scout them all the way from N5Y-4N to 6NJ8-V…seven jumps off nullsecurity space with a Badger. They were already doing runs without a scout, evidence being two more entries of pyerite being sold to me. This however was the "big: lost as she put it…So I rush out to N5Y-4N (Admittedly confusing her for saying she was in 6NJ8-V at first) and guide her all the way back to 6NJ8-V where she drops a massive pile of 400,000 Pyerite on me.

…Small potatoes to massive nullsec industrial sectors. To a single man such as myself? That’s huge. That is real fuel to my industrial efforts and I am grateful to have met such an ambitious pilot like Nina Siccoli.

And if I never built and sold that one Condor, I never would’ve met them.

So, may I ask, are you - the Zaibatsu as a whole, I mean - recruiting for the Guristas when such people come to Venal or are you recruiting for the Zaibatsu. And, if I may be so pertinent, is there much of a difference any more?

I appreciate that you are there to bring Wayism to the Guristas but it would be very easy to ‘go native’ so to speak…

Recruiting for the Guristas? I wouldn’t say that as I have not made anyone apart of the ranks of the Guristas. All i have done is enabled independent Capsuleers to take on contract work for the Guristas agents out here, freelance contractors. And these mission contracts typically entail helping the Guristas snuff out security operations both large in small in Venal. They take a mission, complete the task and return for their reward, their obligations to the Guristas end there if they so choose.

In terms of handing out mining ventures and badgers, that is to help them help me in a way…I do need materials to keep my project out here moving, and as my ambitions expand, so does the workload. By handing off these freebies to pilots that wanna operate out here, they may in turn help me out by digging up material or selling any unwated loot from their mission contracts. I provide opportunities for them to obtain wealth, as well as a chance to help me make a difference in this region.

As for recruiting for the Zaibatsu? Unfortunately at the time the Zaibatsu has barred any module in the Zaibatsu from recruiting any outside Capsuleers. Something I’ve advocated change for, but no changes yet.

However, i should note that ultimately, i am Raata. The Raata Zaibatsu is Raata.

Hello. I have several bpcs I don’t intend on using and rather give them to you than let them take dust

all the bpcs that are not 10/20 are supposed to be used for invention, except

  • the cynabal, vni, ashimu, damavik,
  • the fenrir bpc
  • the T2 bpcs obviously
  • the 2 50* jum pdrive bpcs.

Sorry for not having all 10/20, it was already a pain to gather them all :stuck_out_tongue: .
If you want specific ones, I may have them (actually almost sure) andI may find the time to move them to copy structure and copy them. So just ask and maybe you’ll have them.
I think I have all frig/des/cr T1 bpos 10/20, a few BS T1 10/20, almost all subcap modules T1 10/20

hmm kay the contract windows bugged when I was doing the contract.
Sorry
hmm twice. I will contract the cans one by one.
“connection Lost. Connection to the server was lost”
Finally did the contracts.
