Sorry, i am nerf-triggered.
The Ishtar, also drone boat, was successfully nerfed some more times.
We called EVE-Online Ishtar-Online before.
A clever fc found out how to navigate them successfully. Was copied.
Cry babies insistet on kill the meta.
To explain : Gila is also a drone boat.
And Gila fleets are probably very overpowered.
So Gila fleets probably are nerfed soon.
Guess a clever fc is too successful with Gila fleets.
Gila is a Pirate Cruiser, which is similar to T2 Cruisers in power (CCP shows this when they lock sites behind certain hulls), which have a lot of good options and see just as much use in places where Gilas are used. Sacrilege, Cerberus, Ishtar, Vagabond, Ikitursa, Stormbringer are all very popular ships in places where the Gila is popular (especially in the Abyss). Now most Pirate cruisers are more PVP focused, so you see that they have better firepower and ewar bonuses as opposed to tank but this is what balance looks like.
You really make me think about Guristas faction warfare to produce Gila blueprints !
What group has Gila monopoly ?
Oh yea, it´s harmless multiboxers doing plexes, that were never added to many people`s overview.
So they are quite unbothered.
Okay, so there is a T2 cruiser that can do
- 875 DPS up to 15km (optimal, not falloffâŚ)
- 735 DPS up to 30km (optimal, not falloffâŚ)
- fit scram+web
- has 65k+ eHP
- moves with 1800m/s
âŚbefore implants, fleetboost, drugs or overheat? In a sub-500M fitting? Which one?

Would not compare the alfa ship Gila to T2 ships.
Alfa is Vexor, and Vexor Navy to compare. And ammarian couterparts, also battlecruisers.

Exactly. In the balance meta, one has to compare the Gila to other Pirate Cruisers, to a degree to NavyFaction Cruisers. T2 and T3 should be clearly better at least in raw combat (aka DPS/tank). But they arenât.
Gilas can definitely lose some base stats and still be very good. Especially Drone Hangar, speed, powergrid.
CCP balances Pirate Cruisers with T2 cruisers. Yes Alpha clones can pilot them, but that doesnât matter here.
There is no reason to nerf the Gila. There are great reasons to buff the Myrmidon with 25 more drone bandwidth

This is my pvp-Myrm-Nvy concept.
Clear issue : 1 heavy drone is missing.
So nobody uses Myrm Navy.

Do you realize that this would mean it will go up, not down? Nerfs are always to make something worse for the players, not for CCP.

Actually, that would be the Stormbringer. Itâs quite hilarious how fast it can nuke an entire site.
