Random toon spam is better than random deployable spam.
Toon spam doesnt mean that toon is being actively looked at meaning hunters can slip thru, toon spam also means plex is required to omega it. So CCP either makes money directly from that toons sub, or the plex market is affected because plex has to be bought for it to be omega.
A simple deployable that just pings the person who deployed it is going to reduce hunting availability and reduce either money directly to ccp or reduce in game plex purchasing. While also giving an increase to botting.
I dont think so. Again, the only thing it would do is replace the bots that report people in intell channels.

Ping from structure. Bot command is to dock when ping is acquired.
Bot docks up.
Hunter passes thru system seeing just a single toon in system not in space. (Must be cloaked or docked) Carries on.
Bot undocks, resumes until next ping.
Now botters have a clear path to create even more bots cause its so much safer now.

If it is an alt then the person is directly active in looking. If they arenāt then there is an easy chance a hunter will slip thru.
I have passed thru many nullsec systems before with single characters in them and still come across people mining/ratting. Alts donāt guarantee you safety like your stupid deployable would.

The alt doesnāt do the āsameā thing. Alts donāt ping their owner and do have to undock once in a while, which bring content to a hunter.

Do you really think that none of these āscoutsā that perma sit in a system arnt using some sort of auto reporting command? You and I both know that is happening more often than not in nullsec.
if its an alt, most likely not because any thing that disrupts what the client can do, is against the rulesā¦ if you happen to know someone is doing what you want to prevent, report them.
