Is it possible to create a ship that has really good “specific” advantages.
But because it pushes the boundries of that advantge , the ship deteriorates with use with no repair. Eventually destroying itself.

Doesn’t sound like something different. Sounds like the consequences of overheating after you have run out of repair paste? Or wasteful laser lenses. Or cap boosters depending on charges. Or time limited usage of booster pills and injections effects. Or finally rigs that you can’t remove ever again without destroying them.
Maybe you haven’t experienced these areas in EVE yet.
