Lol I’m literally watch someone streaming it right now xD
This is what Fw complex’s are for thou, while you are in one you are in the lobby waiting for others to join the game.

Well currently I trip to Lowsec to farm the state npc tags and move on then just sometimes I would get caught and have to fight but even though i am very much interested in FW, I become rather bored very quickly are would either get into a fight or know I am about to have a fight or I will just return doing what I know best, which is mining.
What I wanted to point out is have a locked in channel that once a Pilot selects an option to Faction War when (before) undocking* The screen will go blank, but when the screan reapears the Pilot will be warping to the jumpgate to enter the arena (pvp deadspace)
Options are set 1v1 (ship class) or 2v2 rnd fleet or vs 4v4 fleet. I don’t wish to keep going on with this idea as it is not my own but something needs to take this one and forward a suggestion.
The menu could hold a list of options a pilot decides to set active that day either pvp with friends vs randoms or pvp solo in FW and the more pilots get on board with this culture the quicker it will be for FW to really take centre stage in New Eden as we need to remember this is the PATCH and we need to make use of such or player numbers will continue to fall.
Let’s as a community not let Faction War become a side show for pilots who don’t know how to interact with other pilots. Build it and they will come!
You kinda have good ideas.
This remembers me of Guild Wars 2, which I loved the PVP so much!
In Guild Wars 2 when you enter any of the PVP modes everybody’s level is set to level 80 and they have really great gear, that evens out people. But in the World vs World option you can still farm on top of that and have a bit of an edge, still nearly worthless if you don’t work together with the team.
In GW2 rare spawns would happen in world vs world and the players would all run together to defeat the rare (won’t go into too much detail as you already know) defeat and move on as a unit.
In EVE Online where are those rare spawns? Why don’t NPC drop on dedicated locations where are the world bosses? Yes I know this is a sandbox and we are the content. But that was the old, isn’t it time to bring in the new?
You can do the arena abyss which is exactly this
Maybe CCP should create something like that and give them a fancy name like… I dunno… call them incursions or something.
I recall searching the market for filaments for that Battlecruiser the other week (even built a BC to lose that day weeks ago) and there was just 5 in Jita market hub
That is not how to do FW by a long shot.
/
I went to one the other day incursions solo and there was just simple npcs there I ganked them HARD!
I have logs if you don’t believe!
If I recall you get tons of those abyss arena filament drops from running t0 and t1 abyss in a frig, but its strange that jita didnt have any.
do you see the problem
But anyone running them gets it then they put it on the Jita market, I just happen to get them there. And if there is none on market then that makes you can make a lot of isk putting them on market yourself.
But what I’m saying is there is no point turning fw into arena as arena already exists within the game.
They say you can lead a horse to water but you can not make it drink.
Having that system is still the old system. It will not change the Faction War to be any different to what it currenty is and some slight changes are needed to place FW on the Centre stage for pilots who are willing to pvp. Otherwise it will continue to fall the player counts I mean.
Big changes are needed to expose those rocks… lower the water etc etc…
Well you have to remember that, that horse has been walking through a desert for 2 years it wont be hard to make it drink.
You can do all kinds of fun / useful stuff at incursions besides just running them.
One example…
New players can get some nice salvage too…
Even new players can scoop left behind drones as well and if not afraid grab some loot from destroyed player shipwrecks…
Faction warfare is primarily centered around two war zones (areas of low-sec contested by two empires): the Amarr-Minmatar war zone and the Caldari-Gallente war zone,
The sides are already set
rewarded with loyalty points and increased faction standings
Snore fest…
I want a larger carrot! Or that Roid over there @Aiko_Danuja (I really need you in here) is going to become my carrot!
That’s it Im done, i want to shoot rocks as even talking about pvp in it’s current state seems like a major snore fest.
\o
To be fair I feel the same I’m focusing hard on pve so that when the next patch comes out I can go full ham on pvp lol.
I’m sorry the way you say it is how it works and really the only way it can work in Eve Online.
Sometimes going to farm the items is not always fun to a novice pvper when they know in the end they will be back to farming as soon as the match ends is what I am trying to put across.
Everything you replied with is spot on and correct it is just me as a novice pvper wants something more.
/as some might know iceacid frostpacker was outed on a public chat outside of eve online as being a Miner so that is why I am calling in for backup as not only that happened but then some members of that public channel linked my outside of new eden handle with my in new eden pilot and this is why I am calling in for backup which is the only pilot I trust, (aiko)
New players start everyday, now if they stay is one thing. I started a year ago but didn’t play long, now I am back again and am very much enjoying myself lol
Muddying the waters.
At the end of the day what matters is the total number of people logging in per day (or the peak number of users concurrently logged in). It doesn’t matter if those players are from steam or from the launcher. People who aren’t actively playing are not likely to continue paying for subs. Less people playing = less content, and as content dries up, additional people will stop logging in and eventually unsub.
I agree, but I also think that there’s an increasing number of people who fail to grasp that the largest component of content in the game is the players themselves. Too many are waiting for some new PvE feature to add content…to what is primarily a sandbox where one is free to plot one’s own course.
I am sure the zoomers will save the game! As long as there is no pvp and a trophy for everything!
