There should be an in game function to report a user for these things if its happening in game. Having to take screen shots and open a ticket to report someone for misconduct inside your own game where you have access to their chat logs and such is a waste of time. Just add an in game report option, only having a “report ISK spammer” option? Add a function like league of legends has giving the user who reported misconduct an alert saying “your recent report has been verified and a penalty has been issued” your bull about privacy not allowing you to tell us if our report even did anything is nothing more than bull. Other games do it all the time, hell rainbow six siege goes as far to announce bans to said user for what reason to every person currently playing. Stop making excuses and do your job

An in game report button would be mashed to the point that the noise generated by the reports would make finding the real cases more difficult, as they’d all need investigation up to the point of being able to discard them.
Having to raise a ticket provides a lot of that filtering to begin with.
Who says I’m even the one being harassed or threatened? Any person witnessing a breach of TOS should be reporting it. If you see someone using hate speech for example you should be reporting it. Though you having to do all that will stop most people from reporting it.
As for your post edit, they could use an bot system like every other game that looks for key words that are black listed and if it finds them it flags the report for a GM to review it. Like any other game
Whether it’s you or you witnessing, if raising a ticket is too inconvenient, then the concern is fake. You’ll just be generating noise through over reporting, and making it harder for CCP.
If you’re concerned, then be prepared to raise a ticket properly.
Have you ever reported anyone for homophobia for dropping the F in chat, or racial slurs for using the N word? I’ve only been playing for a month and I’ve already taken the time to report multiple people for it, because its 2018 and unacceptable. Eve users have been getting away with it for too long.

Well until that day comes if it ever does you as a player have to obey the TOS or don’t play the game. The terms of service aren’t a suggestion, they are terms you are agreeing to by playing the game. doesn’t matter if you were the first person ever to make an eve account, or the best pvper in the game. The terms of service and policies have changed. the whole reason they are notifying you that you will be banned for not obeying them
