Hey, I ignored the weasel words and focused on the jist of the argument - you are saying they aren’t doing enough to stop botting. I’m saying they’re doing the best the can, and have done a pretty good job lately of turning up the heat.
Can they do more? Sure. But at least acknowledge that they’re doing more than nothing.

That all depends on what they do during that moment of anger. In the vast majority of cases where we have to step in at all, a warning is enough to handle the issue. Most people are not likely to commit any of the violations that will lead to more severe action right off the bat.

Just to add to that AI is advancing at a high rate at the moment in all sorts of areas world wide, stopping botting is a difficult task, in my opinion Eve is doing a good job of it so far from what I have seen, less than when I first started a year ago anyway, but my point is its a cat and mouse game in any industry there is AI and automation used for bad and AI and automation used for good.
it actually is quite hard if the actual definitions are entirely based on individuals feelings, especially with the lack of a legal framework (No laws against Racism or Sexism in Germany, only Inciteful speech/Hatespeech).
The definitions are 100% fluid so it’s quite unfair to ask people to not be a sexist if a person can not know what someone considers as sexism or racism. I can’t read minds, can you?
I mean, as a politician, you should know that definitions are there for a reason and not just for the lulz. Do you really expect that every single player follows every single activist on the planet just so they have a proper idea of what could offend someone in Eve Online?
These 3 terms are ultra-political especially in the US and if you want to keep it non-political, either offer a guideline or remove these points.
There used to be a time where someone would accept FACTS as FACTS and not call Facts “racist, sexist, homophobe” etc. These times are sadly gone and just claiming that these “undefined rules are to be followed by everyone” is not going to work well.

I don’t think definitions are fluid, they are clearly outlined in the English dictionary.

the problem is that these clear definitions aren’t used as a base to make decisions anymore… that train has long left the station, which is exactly the problem.
It has become increasingly hard to not offend anyone, simply because everyone can claim “Victim” nowadays without being questioned (because questioning is offensive too…).

And from a politician, as well. Simply stunned. No, I was simply stating that CCP has had a past history of uneven or poor reenforcemnt of past stated policies. I never implied that they completely failed to act, just that they never always were consistant and effective in their enforcment. Don’t know why what I said was so triggering in nature, but it wasn’t meant to be.
But you fail to provide academic, legal case proof or whatever so, unfortunately, I cannot agree with you. The terms are clearly outlined in a dictionary and eve online / CCP terms and I currently have no other reason to believe otherwise unless someone can convince me with factual evidence to say otherwise.
I think it’s pretty self evident that if you go around shouting “I’M GONNA CUT YOUR HANDS OFF YOU FILTHY ” that you’re breaking this rule.
As for the rest, again, it’s just rules lawyering. The more detailed the definition, the more folks will try to claim what they did didn’t violate the rules, and that’s just creating more work for CS.
As I said before, players have a better idea now of what will get them removed from the game and can govern themselves accordingly. If you aren’t sure that what you’re doing violates the rule, best thing to do is stop doing it.

I consider the “uneven or” to be weasel words. Those are defined as “arguments that appear specific or meaningful, even though these terms are at best ambiguous and vague. Using weasel words may allow someone to later deny any specific meaning if the statement is challenged, because the statement was never specific in the first place.”
CCP is going after botters, they’re doing it a lot and visibly. That’s my point.
