NFT’s are obviously garbage. Crypto overall and BTC in particular…I’d say the jury is still out.
The only reason the jury is still out is because the jury got rich as part of the scam.

Every downside has it’s upside.
The true litmus test for any currency is: can you pay your taxes with it?
No money, bitcoin, fiat or otherwise has intrinsic value, but the option of not getting completely rekt, can lend to it some real value.
CB currencies are backed by monopolized violence. Still countless ways to mess that up that super easy scheme, as is so often witnessed in Africa and SA, but it’s more than nothing when it comes to maintaining a belief system.

Hmmm, I am 56 years old, professionally trained. Replying with my alt, not going to debate that. Never had to use excel in my career, but recognize its importance and pervasiveness of use.
Thought I would rise to the challenge. Read your comment about 25 minutes ago. Did a browser search for “Excel ‘If’ statement”. Took me, oh eight minutes to read through the explanation. Realized that without understanding excel names and name ranges I wouldn’t be able to code my desired “IF” statement correctly. So inside of an easy half hour and without knowing anything else about creating an Excel workbook or Excel nomenclature, here’s my first shot at a simple “IF” statement. Lets see if I got this right (again, Don’t have Excel):
B1 “Eve Player Name”
B2 “input”
C1 “Reason for making this Forum post”
C2 ="arrogant"IF(B2=“Destiny Corrupted”)
Wow, all that first thing in the morning and I was still able to dress myself and eat breakfast without a bib.

Yes, Destiny’s got this odd habit of shoring up their ego by pretending the rest of humanity can’t tie their shoes without assistance. “Most adults can’t do simple math in their head” was another one of those gems. (One is left to assume that Destiny hangs out with a pretty dim crowd.)
That said however, re: Destiny’s original comment, there’s a major difference between telling someone how to buy, trade and cash out Bitcoin and explaining any of the technical detail on “how Bitcoin originates and is controlled as a trading currency”.

Most people can get the general idea pretty quickly, but as to personally understanding enough about Bitcoin to evaluate it’s long-term “trustworthiness”, that’s a lot more advanced. And that’s just addressing Bitcoin in a vacuum on it’s technical merits. Evaluating how government and business might react to it in the long run is anybody’s guess.
The statistics for things like average education and reading/mathematical comprehension levels are widely available online.
