Looks pretty stable for the last couple of years

Indeed

By ā€œTrollsā€ you mean people that don’t share your ridiculous sight on the game that that only consists of clashing and shooting each other like caveman?

Well it was over the moment the ink under the contract CCP/PA had dried…live with it…

holy moly this PVP freaks still don’t get that the game will be moved into the mainstream area and that their ā€œeve is a pvp gameā€ time is done…the moment they finally realize it will be glorious :stuck_out_tongue:

You do know BDO is a PVP game right?

Changes might happen to EVE for sure, but uh…

In the extremely unrealistic event that EVE core gameplay would completely change (after all the PvP sandbox is the absolute core of this game) I would simply stop playing and just play something else.

What I would not do is hang around the forums any longer and cry endlessly about a game I no longer play like you do. Kinda pathetic really. Are you incapable of finding something you actually like to play?

Just curious: any particular game on the current market that you would play if such an event happened?

Gameplay looks different than it was and it profits veterans more than non veterans. Non veterans have to pay cash to keep up. All of that explained below.

With no clone insurance costs, with mining rorquals instead of hulks, with cap ships having application of subcaps and DPS of capitals instead of having application and DPS like capitals, with citadels not dropping loot like POSes used to, with anomalies farming in carriers, what did small guy in EVE got to fight with these veterans?
There is one thing supposedly…
Skill Injectors.
That means joining cap proliferation, its being part of the problem, its straight up buy PLEX, sell for ISK, buy injectors, inject. TiDI and blue donut awaits. CCP made all the changes specially to make more cash. But most people dont want to be part of it… for most people its staying in high, being wardeced or ganked. Rag-tag fleets with randoms in bombers. Straight up refusal of those changes that CCP made to extract more cash from players.

There is nothing more to it.

Probably not another MMO. I have a huge steam backlog with games I want to play and sometimes do when I take a little break from EVE. And there are even more available for me now since Steam Play makes it easy to play almost all Steam games on Linux.

The stuff I’m currently play on/off are:

  • XCom 2: War of the chosen
  • Magic The Gathering Arena
  • Skyrim (still not done)

There isn’t just a lot of time for anything else.

They actually took that out I think. I never actually encountered an NPC saying that but only know about it from videos when it launched :grinning:

I’ll keep an ear out if I ever manage to get back to my game going already.

Why would they take it out? Such an iconic thing.

Which is amazingly easy to achieve if one is prudent.

Shh, don’t upset the carebears’ hopes.

Indeed, newbies don’t need protection, they need education.

I have all achievements, yet I still find new random quests… (not the radiant ones)

See my previous post.

A hardcore player that gets put off by a single gank? Wardec I could understand, a one off loss? Sounds like he wasn’t really hardcore…

I blame ccps choice of font and layout for displaying numbers – should use monospace font for numbers and align them same way (and always display to given accuracy – even if it means displaying .00), that way you could easily eyeball the digits as each digit would take precisely same amount of space when displayed. (so when you have two rows one being ā€œ111111ā€ and other being ā€œ10000ā€ you could trivially notice extra digit in the first one).

I just can’t seem to find any other mmo than eve that can keep me playing it as most of them get boring pretty fast.

That’s because they’re not true open world pvp sandboxes.
