Friends maybe? you know, the other sapiens monkeys from the MM thing in MMO…
Yes, they do … but they don’t understand that.
When someone asks for protection for someone they automatically declare that person to be weak and incapable of learning. They automatically declare that this person has no self responsibility and can not actually learn for himself how to survive. They declare people, who they have no clue of, as victims by default.
They’re pretty much anti-evolution, anti self-responsibility and anti self-preservation. Not the worst humanity has to offer, but not really helping improving the gene pool either.
sigh…
It took you this long to type that?
Yeah, I was watching in anticipation.
Gotta run, will reply later.
no, i removed it because it sums it up perfectly…
Some people like to play games on hard mode. This involves failing or losing a few times (maybe even a lot), but coming out the other end stronger, smarter and better for it.
We’re not the majority. But most people would rather play snakes and ladders than chess, and i know which one gives me more fulfilment.
Unlike popular beliefs people rarely learn from their own mistakes.
I can still shoot other spaceships though and that will not go away. Even in highsec.
The haters and bullies flagged you for no sane reason.
Edit your post. You did nothing wrong.
Don’t let mentally ill people silence you.
Got flagged too! As always during the USTZ, by exactly those people I am talking about.
Can you imagine how broken someone has to be to find pleasure in telling people made up nonsense on an internet forum … over and over and over again? I think these people need serious help.
I <3 You.
They can silence me, they won’t silence antimatter.
A lot of people project their failing onto the game or other people, but in this case it must have reached a whole new level. It’s like they enter a completely delusional state and the only relieve is to fantasize the destruction of the game itself and the suffering of the players who bested them and actually like the game. And to reinforce that believe they have to repeat it over and over again. That’s pretty sick.
I’m pretty new too, I definitely hear where you’re coming from on this. It is hard to learn and easy to be dominated by the more knowledgeable and experienced.
That having been said, I have to say that I kind of get off on the danger. EVE’s reputation as a wretched hive of scum and villainy has me scanning local chat for criminals, scrutinizing the price every time i buy something, and wondering what kind of danger is in every conversation. That’s not even including all the in-space drama and the spaceship danger. I have never played a game like it.
It is, frankly, exciting.
I understand that it’s not for everyone, and I may change my tune when i lose all my stuff or get scammed or blown up or something, but I want to put in a vote for danger, and i like it the way it is now.
Well, we dont even know if you are not one of those projecting. That would be very ironic.
That moment defines you as an Eve player; you can choose to suck it up, attempt some vengeance, whine on the forums or quit.
With your current attitude, options 1 or 2 are what I would expect.
Welcome to EVE. You will have a good time here
Most of the misinformation comes from the so called friendly people, the non-pvpers. If you see what kind of crappiness, lies and terrible stuff they teach newbies it’s just painful.
I have alts in “various places”, most larger 0.0 newbie groups and some smaller ones, and there’s pretty much no exception. It doesn’t matter if it’s joe Schmoe Mining corp in high sec or well known “newbie friendly” groups in 0.0. The lack of actual, REAL, teaching: explaining stuff and enticing people to learn and blossom, is depressing.
K don’t care about who is misleading the rookies, if high null or RNJesus sec, it’s not ethical and the people from LOW/NULL keep saying lol it will make them better , if after a gank y explain him some stuff, well done, you made him a better player, but no, it’s not what happens. They instakill noobies and expect a “GF” from them. Really? He don’t even know how mechanics works , how be instakilled and all text you got from the other side is a " buy the permit next time " will teach him something? you can yell all you want, but fact is this type of people is bored to hell in their environment and want to change others to his advantage preaching false arguments that it will be better for economy, or for the player itself, but it’s all crap. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t believe in save spaces, it’s ■■■■■■■■… But there must be space to new players to learn on their pace. If you instakilled him, at least teach him where they made it wrong and how to proper use eve assets
