The real police also issue punishments that mean something, instead of just putting a negative number on your file, and allowing you to roam freely in your capsule. Only pouncing on you if you board an actual ship.
What Concord does is the proverbial âslap on the wristâ. If that.
It fits the narrative of Eve being a typical corrupt third world country environment, and Capsuleers being big shots the police donât want to offend.
Like when Pablo Escobar went to prison in Columbia. But he had visitors at all hours of the day, including prostitutes. Plenty of alcohol and drugs. I think after a while they decided to simply put him on house arrest, and he continued to run his drug empire over the phone.
But technically they did âpunishâ him.
I should add to that, though, that when you entered the Eve universe, thatâs what you probably expected. Some people are just mad that they got what they came for. Perhaps expected more sugar coating on their red pill?
it is obvious that the pirates are going to defend their position because they get a lot of juice taking advantage of a bump in the game. highsec and concord were originally meant to be safe spaces to fly through, but the reality is that itâs not safe, they should somehow prohibit players from being able to shoot each other in HighSec. and all the gankers and pirates force them to do their activities in LowSec 0.4 and below. that way they could continue with their activities and HighSec would really be HighSec.
In any case, I donât think that CCP pays attention to this matter. But it would be fair if he did.
Calm down miner. As KING of high sec I hereby declare your concerns to be invalid. Please purchase the proper permit that will allow you to mine asteroids in high sec at once. I have spoken.
No, as far as I remember high sec was never meant to be a 100% safe space to fly through. Concord is there to punish the infractor, causing them to lose their ship. Concord evasion is considered an exploit by CCP, but ganking isnât, which clearly tells you CCP aproves of ganking and regards it as a legit activity.
they lose their ships 100% of the time for a CHANCE to have a loot drop that give them profit
the operation require coordination , timing , careful selection of targets
they are playing the game in a honest and skillful way
im not a pirate , im not a hunter , im a fighter ⌠i lost more ships than most of the forum members
i find your complains about this subject misinformed and disproportional
I dash all over highsecâŚregularly pass through high ganker areas like UedamaâŚand have not been ganked in 6 months. I build ships in Jita and regularly fly ships out of there, and have never been targetted. I mine in various places as wellâŚand have never been ganked while mining. I regularly make trips of 40 jumps or soâŚlooking for flashies to zap or new PvE sites. Never been attacked doing this.
If I do think there will be trouble ahead, I send an expendable scout ahead to have a look. My scout has never been attacked.
My ex girlfriend who happens to be the Police Chief of CONCORD police department says she is too busy to protect every care bear who is afk mining in high sec. Lesson learned stop being a bot.
My ships evolve as a result of not making itâŚso i now fit 24km warp scrambler, sensor boosters, etc. My one âkillâ so far was the result, and Iâm hoping for more. I also often act as âbaitââŚthough Iâm realising a Gnosis is not that good a bait ship ( people simply donât take the bait ) so am gonna use a Nereus instead.
