Quantum Cores - Updates begin 8 September

I am sure @Jonah_Gravenstein is feeling himself, you know what I mean   :eggplant: :eggplant:

Only when the missus has the painters in

I thought the Hypernet was supposed to kill Eve. Or those broker fee changes. Why are we all still here?

Eve has been killed by so many things that it’s now a wandering mass of deadness consuming all before it

Bargain struck, pls respond here when the contract(s) is/are up. In the name of fairness, I promise to evenly distribute your stuff amongst all who request a slice in this thread.

Me !!!

This will simply separate the Credit Card Warrior PVE players from the people who actually play the game and produce as a functional group.

Sorry about you losing your 2 dozen Athanors, Azbels and Fortizars though… I’m sure you were keeping them all alive solo.

I’ll take a punt and suggest upward of 80% of High Sec citadels will be gone by end January 2021.

Good/Bad - your opinion, but that’ll include those players as well.

At the end of the day I don’t think this will change too much. You’ll just have more Holding corp hiding structures. Silent Co now has more than 30,000 members hiding in a non-wardec alliance.
Non-Wardecable should only apply to NPC corps! All that wasted content hiding in High Sec.

I think this was CCP’s long term strategy. They weren’t going to ā€œremoveā€ the wars, they were just going to make them completely irrelevant.

Almost every single high-sec corporation advertises both the ownership of structures, and war immunity, within the contents of a single ad. The entire system is a caricature of EVE’s ā€œvisionā€ of player interaction.

Shouldn’t the nullblocs set up the holding corps for all of the highsec citadels? You pay them rent or you don’t get to keep any structures in highsec. There is no sense in having every single social corp set up their own structure holding corp.

When I sit in trashy high-sec corporations for infiltration purposes, ā€œowning a stationā€ seems to be a sort of milestone sentiment for people. It’s kind of a required step in their progression. All respectable businessmen own stations, you know? It doesn’t matter that they could use other people’s existing stations in the vicinity, or that they don’t even particularly need to use one; owning their own means that they are ā€œserious.ā€ They get that cozy feeling of having their own ā€œcastle,ā€ so to say. Never mind the fact that castles need to be defended, and they don’t know how to do it, and would be unwilling to do it even if they did…

Isn’t it great that Eve has something for everybody? I never even considered putting up any kind of structure, fueling it and all that baloney never seemed appealing at all.

But, some people want to get involved in that stuff and I think that is swell.

This. 99.9% of these stations don’t matter, and the only people ragequitting over it are the ones dumb enough not to understand it.

Really funny that some people still refuse to see that the game is already over the edge to the point of no return and begins to fall into the pearly abyss…

You’ve been saying that for years and it still isn’t true.
