Remove learning implants

Not quite… Argumentum Ad Populum would apply if it were something popularly believed. An example of that fallacy would be to say that butter must be a good way to treat burns because many people know that you’re supposed to put butter on burns.

@JUSTIFIED_ARROGANCE (btw dude… one post - just edit if you need to. I’m triggered dude.) correctly asserted that the OP is making assumptions on the logic of others.

If I had to guess, I’d call it a Fallacy of Presumption.

And to prove him wrong at least once, I present myself.

I play in Hi Sec, and I don’t like the gameplay in Low or Null. Even when I was paying for my account, I didn’t use +5’s.

I currently have the Genolution set plugged in, which provide a mere +3. I also never bothered optimizing my attributes for training, just kept them balanced because I like to try new things sometimes, and didn’t want to have to worry about what I’d be training next month should something new catch my eye.

So the reasons I don’t leave Hi Sec these days have nothing to do with training implants. I guess I’d be sad if my Genolutions blew up, but I do have Jump Clones… or did. Not sure if you can keep jump clones as an alpha, I never checked.

It’s the same kind of choice as training to fly a particular ship or use a particular module. Making the choice to train one thing means you can’t train something else. i.e. A tradeoff.

You’re just fabricating numbers here. 99.9%? Based on what evidence. Provide some proof for this claim.

Infact, most players don’t choose to remain in hi-sec with +5s. Indeed, it’s difficult to completely avoid low sec if you travel a lot (as I do) although it’s true that you don’t need to enter nullsec unless you want to. Regardless, unless you’re caught in a warp bubble you still have a good chance of saving your pod (and any implants) when your ship is destroyed.

You don’t have to take my word for it. Just check www.zkillboard.com. Ship losses aren’t always accompanied by a pod loss and in those cases where the pod is also destroyed the killmails often reveal no implants at all (not even hard-wirings), which is proof that players are choosing not to use them, even in hisec.

Players CHOOSE to either completely forego attribute implants or to fit +1, +2, +3, +4 or +5 as they prefer. This is a meaningful choice because there is a tradeoff between the REWARD of training skills faster vs the RISK (i.e. expense) of losing your implants.

1st: ROFL
2nd: you have a char from 2008? https://evewho.com/pilot/Raw%20Matters/ did you buy it?

if you use +4 implants you lose arround 100 mill .. lol .. thats like nothing for a 2008 char .. sorry .. that is ridiculous

your idea will not help anyone to go to nullsec .. lol .. thats so ridiculous
