Thanks for trying @Brisc_Rubal
Iām simply choosing whose mistakes look less terrible right now
Unfortunately Arrendisā¦
That might be true from the outlook of a solo player, or simply put just an individual.
But in a group, or a formal Organization at the lowest point, a Corporation.
Mineral cost has a negligible effect, cause you are not spending ISK to acquire them, you and your corpies are putting in the effort instead.
And in HS a catalyst costs at most 40,000 Isk approx to build, and a T1 battlship 10 million, a talos 5 million ISKā¦ the fact the player markets allow for such ships to be dumped on buy orders in extreme numbers with grossly understated profitability is crazy.
And then of courseā¦for those playing the game, to play the game, as in subbing not plexing or worrying about plexxing, can also use those ships toā¦idk gank someone far cheaper than those buying stuff, or fight wars etc without little worry about things like Killboards and ISK efficiency.
So my argument still stands, ISK cost of a ship on the markets is not on CCP, its on the players since you can build an Dominix for 10 million, but someone has to pay 100+ on the market for it.
Do you actually believe that?
I believe ā¦ they will have bot or employee who ask question what THEY WANT.
Did you forget ??? Time = Money too?
I didnāt think so. Now Iām torn between paying for a game that our casual indy group is an unwanted entity or unsubbing and having my corp mates lose what they worked for. Iām kinda the care taker, i keep the lights on, so that my corp mates can come and go as they please (we have a very RL comes first policy)
CCP doesnt care about such things. They only see the $$
well if you are subscribed, but not playingā¦then I guess you are wasting your money?

You clearly have absolutely no idea how in-game economies work, and we have all lost a few seconds of our life attempting to derive the logic from your post.
Itās also worth noting that the individual you are responding to, Arrendis, is a higher-up across-the-board coordination leader for 10s of 1,000s of players.
So Iām almost speechless on this one.
Quantum cores was a stupid idea but it was comprehensible in terms of its impact.
This is a massive bat to the entire economy. There is no way CCP can have any idea what this is going to do. Their silly thoughts about what might happen are no more than that. About the only thing that is going to happen for sure is that prices are going to up by a lot. And that is going to make the game worse for new players (again).
Again, speaking as an officer of a small indy corp, this is less tragic for us than the quantum core thing. What we mine will be more valuable (though whether it is per hour of work remains to be seen) and what we make will be harder to makeā¦impossible to know how that is going to work.
But whatās shocking is to make such sweeping changes to the game without any real testing. It smells of desperation rather than a plan if Iām honest about it. And sad to see the game developers becoming desperate.
I donāt think your indy group is an unwanted entity. I think ccp is desperate to drive scarcity. They tried some reasonable things. None of them worked. Now theyāve moved on to.
- We must do something.
- This is something.
- ???
- Profit.
Sadly you are right. When the RL income drops like a paralyzed falcon, they will give a really lame āWe didnāt get the desired resultsā and remove the change. However they will still make the people that bought cores fly them to a Buyer station, so that PvPerās get another shot at hem (rather than using a script to remove and reimburse safely)
This is definitely going to bring an interesting dynamic in trade and bringing importance to all types of space, looking forward to it
This is a massive nerf to anyone living in drone lands as reprocessing loot is going to be a thing again.
Does CCP really want to do that in the middle of a war ?
These changes will kill mining in EVE. Me, I like mining ice, all kind of ores.
With these minerals I produce Fuel, Ships and capital parts. Mining in High-sec was
comfortable and without any trouble. I liked it!
This will end now. I will finish mining at all. I do not need any trouble mining in low-sec or null. Besides the yields for the different ores you are planning are much too small.
I guess I will finish playing EVE-online. My first char has started in EVE in 2007. I guess the devs do not love the game as the players do.
This is a massive nerf to anyone
fixed your post for you
Remember blackout? In the middle of a war.
The last time CCP announced changes I didnāt like I canceled my 6 subs for good. Today I am canceling my 6 subs for good again.
I spend more that 100 b to 2 almost perfect rorquals. inject and trained a lot of skills.
Moved them to null.
So ccp tells me that it is time to extract these sp and inject another ships?
Really ? Are u kidding us or what the hell is happing?
Who will spent a lot of money and m3 to JF moving minerals from HS to null, how much now will cost supers and dread and another staff in 0 or highsec?
This game will die more quickly than we expected. Thanks .
