Resource Redistribution Update

I knew this would happen, I stockpiled a bunch of ore, and the price is going to go way up now. Yeet

So, CCP messed up by handing out all minerals to null, and now they mess with everybody else in an attempt to un-mess what was messed up…

What was desirable to sell Rorqs like crazy now has proven bad for the game economy and they need to mess up everybody’s mining to try and sort the disaster they caused. Turns that specialization and inter-zone trade is better for economy than the much pandered “self-sufficency” of nullbears…

…but nevermind, CCP has already doubled up on the mess by allowing Goons to destroy the Amarr-Jita trading lane. One step forwards, two steps backwards…

Mining is a big part of EVE’s gameplay and that is especially true for Wormholes (who will day trip to mine excluded minerals and or haul). As someone who lives and produces on the front lines of New Eden seeing High-Sec industry take a hit is a welcome change. We can hope and likely expect players to adjust and min/max with these new changes but having players more vulnerable like this shift to low-sec (Isogen, Nocxium) generates interesting gameplay (because we play to have fun, build and destroy). Encouraging industrialists to venture deeper into space is a fair move.

More folks in Low. What’s not to like?

Nah, it made a certain amount of sense. ‘This one type of EWAR totally prevents counterplay’ is a bad way to go. Problem is, they’re already doing that form of EWAR elsewhere.

Sensor dampers are ECM, Electronic Counter-Measures. Tracking Disruptors, Missile Guidance Disruptors, all of it… that’s what ECM would actually be doing… so having a module that just turns you off… but only based on a random % chance! that’s just crap. And yeah, ‘ECCM’ is a thing in the game… but again, it already is. Damps get countered by Sebos, Tracking/Guidance Disruption by TC/MGC, etc etc.

They should’ve removed ECM completely as being totally redundant, and rebalanced which races get bonuses to which EWAR. Like letting the Caldari have Sensor Damp bonuses instead.

CCP didn’t allow the Goons to disrupt trading. We did. If people cared, they could have stopped them.

CCP is Self-Destructive with eve online. I quit. im done with it. I cant keep playing a game where ALL my efforts are nerfed because CCP wants money threw Forced PVP. Even the major Devs have left CCP. Why not just reset eve? Why not REMOVE all isk from eve? I would restart again over this unstable nerfing. WE LOG ON TO A GAME TO PLAY A VIDEO GAME. We WAKE UP to disappointment and daily struggles in REAL LIFE. Why log on to a VIDEO GAME to struggle and deal with CONSTANT nerfs? 14 year ride but im done. Good luck CCP. You will need it.

…they should have asked Rixx Javixx about what are insta-blap Triglavian guns doing to roaming pirates in lowsec…

Pure sophisms. The word “force” clearly implies “being put in such circumstance where the only reasonable thing to do is something that this person ordinarily would not to do and/or does not want to do” and people (in general) do not take kindly overuse of such treatment

" Null Security

  • All variations of Scordite, Plagioclase, Omber, Jaspet, Hemorphite, Hedbergite, Gneiss, Dark Ochre, and Crokite will be removed from Nullsec asteroid belts.
  • The quantity of all variations of Kernite will be reduced by 75%.
  • The quantity of all variations of Bistot will be reduced by 70%.
  • The quantity of all variations of Arkonor will be reduced by 50%.
  • The quantity of all variations of Mercoxit will be reduced by 90%."

This completely removes astroid belts in my home region. Are they meant to be replaced with something else?

Why will this make the game better in the long run? Without a reduction in faucet income, all this will do is raise the price of everything in the game, making the small less willing to play and having little impact on the large.

What would be unpopular is to reduce faucet income levels but CCP seems unwilling to even consider that even though it is far more likely to lead to a better outcome.

Raising prices without hitting faucets just increases the need for bots to drive isk production from PVE. It won’t do anything else to the large while it kills off the new player/small group experience.

As for being a “white knight,” you most clearly are. That you don’t see it is rather ironic.

Ice belts formed of tears?

They are past the point of no return, they can’t undo Quantum cores without pissing off the PvP crowd and they can’t keep it without losing the casual indy player base

How cute… :tipping_hand_woman:t2:

…do you believe in tooth fairy, too?

I like the changes.

No. CCP says you mined to much. Go to low sec. Null is POINTLESS now. The super ratting will SKYROCKET and CCP will REMOVE light fighters from Supers and NULL will be POINTLESS.

Not a bad way to combat botting in Oasa, really.
