Resource Redistribution Update

I know the post is long, but i have been suggesting that

All the miners who are now complaining that there is less ore and that they cannot mine certain ores in their region of space, you are aware that the ores you now will be able to mine only in your space will get much more valuable?

They have a long way to go before they catch up to the Quantum Cores thread

I mean trading keeps the markets flowing

Reasons, obviously. And if those reasons are worth organizing 40 people in 15M ISK ships, then the orca will die. If they’re not, then why bitch that the orca doesn’t die? After all, the orca would die if the reasons were worth the cost and effort.

If the reasons aren’t worth the cost and effort, then who cares that it didn’t die? It’s not worth the time/cost/effort. At that point, you’re just wasting time and energy being fussed that something was more trouble than it’s worth.

I’d love to go to the moon. Going to the moon ain’t worth the time, money, and work I’d need to put into it. So I don’t bitch about not being on the moon.

Scarcity of the player base they certainly managed to create really well.

and so will the ores in the other parts of space so we will still have to pay inflated prices duh!

some for politics mainly for tears or that have not got a mining license from code

Muh face when you’re trying to explain to one of the guys running MiniLuv why he does what he does. Holy carp.

Well obviously prices will go up, that’s the whole point of the resource shortage phase…

But there will be more work for haulers to import all those ores! And therefore more gank opportunities.

Once the minerals run out there won’t be anything but Corvettes to gank stuff in.
Last I heard they explode at the sight of a lowsec gate-gun.

Luckily the minerals won’t run out, there will only be less of them.

Not when tritanium used is 90% of the job
Not when NS ressorces is less than 1% of the job

What a time to train into a jump freighter I guess.

Sounds like high sec miners will be able to make a lot of ISK by mining trit and selling it to NS! You could even consider taking on a job as hauler to distribute all the ores back to where they will go missing.

I am answering this while in channel with the dev who is doing this. I am listening to csm trying to drill down on what is the plan.

Yes we were told what is happening, not checked with. But that does not stop us from engaging now and over the term to come.

You make the mistake of believing that the CSM and CCP each act with one brain, one purpose. Some CCP folks are less forthcoming, others work with us very well. It is a big company.

Some CSM get pissed off, others ask more questions etc. news flash we are a collection of humans. (or passing as humans) Did I express myself and the dislike of these changes and their effect on hisec industrialists? yeah Did they change anything because of it? No. Have I given up as a result? hell no. Keep giving me good ammo to bring to the battle, well reasoned arguments are the best. Thank you.

I’m pretty sure this will not be like this.
We are talking about eve right?

That game where opportunistic players can make a lot of ISK by playing into other player’s needs? Yea, I’m pretty sure people can make more ISK by jump freighting ores back to where they will go missing after this patch.

This completely fucks over any chance of WH mining now.

Once a Procurer will cost 750 zillion isk, I bet all the highsec miners are causing “traffic jams” on the lowsec gates to make - oh wait

And the 30000000 zillion isk Catalysts will be bought in “bulk” of none to gank all the freighter pilot, traversing the lowsec highways to not bring you replacements of - oh freighter is kill, no more ships for you I guess.
