You figure out that I am nobody all by yourself? And people said you couldn’t learn!
Everyone here is functonally Nemo Outis.
Well, on the internet nobody knows you’re a dog.
also:
At least you didn’t have all of your stuff in a player station that went “abandoned” and then got destroyed. (no asset safety)
Just probe around all the known entrances to the target system, the WH in to it WILL be in one of them at all times, in the case of Kino there are technically 14 systems the WH can spawn in, although one of those 15 is another trig system, here, have a map of them for free
Look on the bright side, at least it wasn’t in an abandoned structure.
I’d put a ticket into CCP to see if they can cancel your industry jobs. They should do at least that for you imo.
should not have of left the game or better yet… maybe you should have given everything away?
I posted my solutions before I knew anything about the now Triglavian systems. Since there are no gates to jump into Trig systems, it seems you can never jump close enough for skills requiring you to be X jumps away to work. (sigh) However you can filament in, cancel jobs from space, and then filament out.
Povchen has only 27 systems in a triangle with corners multiple connected via gates, so everything is max. 12(?) jumps away from each other.
Right, but you can’t jump in from outside that group. You have to filament in to the group just to cancel the jobs…or do anything there.
Sure, and the point? Accessing Povchen is easier than traveling 2 jumps in highsec, because it’s only one jump from everywhere.
The point is you have not been following my posts in this thread at all. I was looking for a solution to the OP’s problem of not being able to cancel jobs in Pochven. When I began I did not know anything about its jump gate situation, that remote job cancellation was possible, that there were skills for that, or anything about filaments. I was absent from EVE for a while and never was into industry nor even PVE much except mining. Now I know and now maybe also people who followed the thread know.
Nah it just looks like hoarding. It’s all just junk drops that mostly all get reprocessed. It doesn’t take long to amass tons of stuff in lots of places while you wait on a good reprocess rate or location.
After a few years of ratting you learn to just leave all that crap out there in space and just selectively loot things that are actually valuable. 99% of this game is just trash. The other 1% is just murder.
It kind of feels like you think that people who pay to play are not very smart.
How could you convert your assets into plex if nobody ever bought plex to post on the market?
I like this game, so I support them by paying subscription fees. I don’t feel manipulated to do so. I didn’t enjoy being alpha, and I saw enough potential to risk the investment.
That investment paid off in entertainment.
My thoughts exactly for the past 12 1/2 years that I’ve been playing… I also buy the Packs and PLEX too.
I think it will be funny when pearl abyss takes eve online away from CCP like it just did to kakao Games with black desert. If CCP cant come up with that 425,000,000 it took from PA its going to lose control. Seems like CCP plan is to leave pearl abyss a dumpster fire not worth having.
Removed some rule violating posts.
Different scenarios, PA bought CCP. Kakao was the publisher.
I think you got it a little wrong. The actual deal for Pearl Abyss to acquire CCP was for $425 million total which was a combination of a $225 million upfront payment and up to $200 million in a deferred performance-based bonus payout.
The original CCP page with the performance bonus payment info is no longer available. I don’t remember the specifics, I think it was either maintain current numbers or increase numbers by a certain % within a couple of years time frame to get the $200 mill performance bonus pay. And by numbers it’s sale / profit margins, not log-in / account numbers.
The sale was actually done late 2018, add a few years for the bonus pay time period and I wouldn’t be surprised that it’s now close to the end of that performance based time period.
Interesting thing to note is that right after the news of CCP being acquired by PA was announced, CCP posted an ‘Ask Me Anything’ thread which was pretty much hosted by CCP Falcon and CCP Guard:
Both CCP Falcon and CCP Guard had great praise for the acquisition. They stated CCP would retain all control on Eve’s development with no changes to their current policy, that they foresaw a great future for Eve and both of them planned to stay working at CCP for a long time. Within 1 year of that AMA, both of them were no longer employed at CCP. Now that’s ironic.
I think CCP’s recent big push on Eve Packs, PLEX, Ship Skins and Omega time sales is to collect on that $200 mill performance based bonus payment. Even if CCP fail’s to complete the performance bonus pay requirements, their stockholders still made $225 mill from the upfront purchase payment.
PA really paid for the tech used more than they did for EO itself, so even if EVE dies they still retain all that work which they can then use elsewhere in other projects, its no different to people buying up the likes of motorola, stripping out its patents and then selling the rest of the company as a husk
