Athounon VI
Bodycam footage recovered from the remnants of a ruined FOB in Cieléclat territory.
The footage is shaky, appearing to be a soldier’s bodycam.
They and their cohorts are clad in worn, greenish uniforms, and seem to be patrolling.
The ground shakes and a large cloud of dust and smoke kicks up.
They find cover and shots begin to ring out. The attackers are obscured by the smoke and erratic movements of the soldier. A small group headed by a larger entity is all that can be seen.
Shouts ring out from within the chaos.
“It’s shields are too strong!”
“Fall back!”
An explosion rocks the feed before it hits static, then picking up at a later point.
Alarms are blaring, and a PA system is regurgitating an evacuation order.
Fires roar in the background, and the soldier’s breathing is laboured.
While they run, gunfire and explosives can be heard,
Again, the footage cuts and returns at a different point.
The soldier is holed up in a room with the remains of their forces. Heavy steps echo throughout the building. The mechanized soldier seems to be giving orders to its allies remotely while searching for its target.
It stops outside the room the soldiers are hiding in. It waits, as if listening.
It enters, looming over them, and with a click, a gun is armed.

They drop.
A distorted voice speaks.
“VIP secured. Beginning Sanitization process.”
Fire crackles, and the feed fizzles out.
