Provisional Government Officials Found Dead, Drained of Blood

The Provisional Government of Unity must announce with a heavy heart the discovery of six bodies of Provisional Government officials on the eve of this year’s Totality Day. The bodies were located in an abandoned vehicle park and were identified only by a plastic envelope left carefully at the scene containing dossiers on six separate mid-level officials later confirmed missing. As deliberate steps were taken to prevent proper identification however, including clear signs of prolonged torture, provisional authorities have yet to confirm if the dossiers match nor which dossier each body corresponds to. Further reports elaborate that each of the bodies had been hung upside down with chains and drained with blood like a sow, adding an additional degree of mystery and brutality to the crime.
Intriguerre agents have since taken ownership of the case from provisional militia authorities, and have publicly stated their intent to repay this act of violence in kind. For now, however, they state that Vale remains a safe region for the public for celebration this Totality Day-- Citing a sharp decrease in crime recorded following the ceding of the region as a Veles protectorate.
